Juliet's P.O.V

Tom found me muttering to myself by the lunch tables.

"Where were you this morning?"

"What do you mean?" I frowned feigning ignorance,"You saw me this morning, we talked remember?"

He rolled his eyes at me, "You know what I meant."

"Your lovely brother told me that, and I quote, 'I wasn't needed'," I shrugged, "So I spent the time sunbathing."

"Consider yourself lucky, it was boring as hęll anyway."

"I can imagine," I nodded grinning, "That weary look on your face speaks volumes."

"Do I really look tired?" he frowned.

"Yeah and kinda ugly too," I grinned.

He scoffed, "That's not what you were saying yesterday."

That wiped the grin off my face.

I rolled my eyes groaning in annoyance, "Let it go Tom!"

Nancy didn't meet up with us until half way through lunch.

"Where have you been?" I raised a brow as she sat down in front of me, setting her plate down.

"Talking to the boss man."

I nodded picking at my food trying my hardest to look uninterested, but my curiosity got the best of me.

"What about?"

"You actually," she said pointing at me with her fork; then at Tom adding, "and you."

"Us?" I frowned nervously, "Why?"

"I don't know," she shrugged, "He just wanted to know if you had told me anything about last night."

"What did you say?" I asked anxiously.

Why was I anxious?

"I said that you told me that nothing happened."

I nodded again, "Why didn't you just refuse to talk about it?"

"He's my boss can't necessarily say no to him. He yells you know?"

Like I didn't know that.

I snicker caught my attention.

Turning to my right I glared at Tom, "Why is this funny to you?"

"It's not," he grinned.

I kept my narrowed eyes on him but the grin never left his face.

"Whatever," I muttered turning my attention back to my food,"

"You mad?" Nancy asked me with a worried look on her face.

I smiled at her, "No I just like messing with Tom."

"It's true," he grinned at her.

She laughed going back to her lunch.

I wasn't mad at either of them my fight wasn't with them it was with Graham. I didn't want to make a big deal out of nothing. I don't blame her for talking to him he is the boss after all; which I tend to forget here.

When we finished our lunch they took me up on my offer to throw their trash away for them. I regretted offering to do it as soon as I noticed Graham making his way towards me and the trashcans.

Dåmmit.

I was so close to shouting at him to leave me alone. It seemed as if it was a never ending cycle of Graham Mercier making my life impossible.
