The weight of the encounter with Sunoo pressed down on Yeonjun, not with fear, but with a jolt of disbelief. He rejoined Beomgyu, their usual comfortable silence replaced by a shared look of surprise.

"Sunoo," Yeonjun blurted, the name tumbling out before he could stop himself. Beomgyu's brow furrowed, a flicker of concern crossing his face. He knew the name held a deeper significance for Yeonjun, a past they rarely spoke of.

"We ran into each other," Yeonjun explained, his voice still tinged with shock. "It was...unexpected. Especially since..." He trailed off, unsure how to explain the raw emotion in Sunoo's eyes, a mix of surprise and something else Yeonjun couldn't quite decipher.

Beomgyu, with his innate understanding of Yeonjun, immediately grasped the situation. Sunoo, the charismatic vocalist of ENHYPEN, was a pre-debut acquaintance of theirs, but for Yeonjun, he represented a past he'd moved on from.

"Did he say anything?" Beomgyu asked cautiously.

Yeonjun shook his head. "Not really. But the way he looked at me...it was like seeing a ghost."

A sudden realization dawned on Beomgyu. The subtle shift in ENHYPEN's interactions lately, the charged encounter with Sunoo – could it be that Sunoo recognized the coded message in "Can You Hear Me?"?

"Maybe he heard the song," Beomgyu suggested, his voice laced with curiosity.

Yeonjun's eyes widened. "You think so? But...what does it mean?"

The possibilities hung heavy in the air. Did Sunoo recognize the hidden message, a reflection of their own bond? Or was it something more personal, a flicker of guilt or regret from their past bubbling to the surface?

Meanwhile, the online world was abuzz with speculation. The "TXT_ENHYPEN_Mystery" hashtag trended worldwide, fueled by a fancam capturing a tense moment backstage at a music show. The contrast between TXT's usual interactions with other groups and their interactions with ENHYPEN, particularly Yeonjun and Sunoo, sent the fandom into a frenzy.

Back at Big Hit, the executives watched the online firestorm unfold. The marketing team saw potential in the buzz, a chance to capitalize on the "rivalry" narrative they'd carefully crafted. However, the more conservative members of the board worried about the potential damage to both groups' images.

A meeting was called, the future of TXT and ENHYPEN hanging in the balance. Would they force the manufactured rivalry, or allow the truth, whatever it may be, to unfold?

In their dorm room, Yeonjun and Beomgyu faced the uncertainty. "What if everything falls apart?" Beomgyu whispered, a hint of worry creeping into his voice.

Yeonjun squeezed his hand, his gaze unwavering. "We'll face it together, no matter what. We have each other, and that's all that matters."

But despite his outward confidence, a flicker of apprehension remained. The melody of their truth was playing on a much larger stage, and while facing Sunoo's past actions was a hurdle, it was the potential for a deeper connection, a reopening of old wounds, that truly sent a jolt through Yeonjun. The song might resonate with Sunoo, but would it spark understanding, or ignite a conflict neither of them anticipated?

...

The days that followed the encounter with Sunoo were a whirlwind of nervous anticipation for Yeonjun. He stole glances at Sunoo during award shows and music show tapings, their usual playful interactions replaced by a tense silence. Beomgyu doesn't seems to say anything. The fans, ever observant, noticed the shift, fueling the "TXT_ENHYPEN_Mystery" even further.

One particularly grueling day, after a string of back-to-back interviews, Yeonjun found himself alone in a practice room, the weight of the situation pressing down on him. He decided to channel his nervous energy into dance, letting his body tell the story his words couldn't. As he moved, a melody from "Can You Hear Me?" started playing in the background, a pre-recorded track for another group practicing later.

Suddenly, the door creaked open, and Sunoo walked in, his face pale. Yeonjun froze, caught mid-movement. The silence stretched, thick with unspoken emotions.

"That song," Sunoo finally managed, his voice barely a whisper. "It's..."

Yeonjun's heart hammered against his ribs. "Powerful?" he offered tentatively.

Sunoo shook his head, his eyes locked on Yeonjun's. "It's...your story. Isn't it?"

Yeonjun's breath hitched. He hadn't expected such a direct approach. A wave of emotions flooded him – relief, apprehension, a flicker of hope. He nodded slowly, unsure of what to say next.

"I... I heard the lyrics," Sunoo continued, his voice trembling slightly.

"And I saw the way you looked at Beomgyu during the performance. It...it resonated with me."

A wave of surprise washed over Yeonjun. Did Sunoo understand? Did he see the truth reflected in their performance? He cautiously approached Sunoo, their eyes meeting for a long moment.

"There's something you need to know, Sunoo," Yeonjun said, his voice low and sincere. He took a deep breath and began to speak, not just about the song, but about their past, about the emotions "Nap of a star" held for him and Beomgyu.

As Yeonjun spoke, the tension in the room began to ease. Sunoo listened intently, his expression a mix of regret and understanding. When Yeonjun finished, a heavy silence descended upon them.

"I never meant to hurt you," Sunoo finally said, his voice filled with remorse.

"I was young and...stupid. But seeing you on stage, so open and honest...it made me realize how much I messed up."

A flicker of forgiveness bloomed in Yeonjun's chest. The encounter wasn't what he expected, but perhaps it was exactly what they both needed.

"We can't change the past," Yeonjun said gently,

"but we can learn from it. Maybe...maybe there's a way to move forward."

Sunoo offered a hesitant smile. "Maybe there is."

The next few days were a blur of rehearsals and promotion, but a newfound sense of peace settled over Yeonjun. He knew their secret was still out there, a ticking time bomb. But facing Sunoo, confronting the past, had shifted something within him.

One evening, as TXT and ENHYPEN were leaving a music show, a group of reporters swarmed them. Amidst the flurry of questions, a young reporter pointed at Yeonjun and Beomgyu.

"What about the rumors surrounding your relationship?" she asked, her voice sharp.

For a moment, time seemed to stand still. All eyes turned to Yeonjun and Beomgyu. Yeonjun looked at Beomgyu, their eyes meeting in a silent conversation. They had come this far, and there was no turning back.

Yeonjun squeezed Beomgyu's hand, a silent promise exchanged. He took a deep breath, a calm settling over him. He looked back at the reporter, a small smile playing on his lips.

"Perhaps," he said, his voice ringing clear, "our music speaks for itself."
