~Flashback, y/n pov~

"I'm gonna win Kai!!"

"Not if i get there first!!"

We were racing to the beach as we were holding ice cream in our hands.

"Don't drop your cherry on top!!"

"I would never y/n!! who do you think i am??", Kai said while laughing and running onto the sand with my hand in his.

We could feel the acceleration speed up, as if our feet weren't even moving anymore and we were just sprinting with no will.

We were both on our first date.

Even though we had been friends for a while, we never actually considered it.. a date...

This was our first.

We both got ice cream and wanted to have a relaxing time at the beach afterwards.

It was dark outside..

"I beat you Kai!!", i said while laughing at him.

"Heyyy!, thats not fair!... We were holding hands!!", laughed Kai.

The wind was blowing very violently.

Kai pushed some of my hair behind my ear.

I smiled.

"I'll be right back y/n."

"Okay!!"

Once Kai left, I decided to sit down and stare into the ocean for a bit.

I always found the smell of the ocean and the sound of the waves relaxing.

My eyes drifted into the waves a bit more until i saw a figure.

What...? I didn't see a figure.. that part of the flashback wasn't real..

The figure moves closer to me.

there was never a figure right..?

Through its dark brown hair i see the figure is Kai.

"What..Who.. are you..?"

"I am Kai.."

"You're not... you aren't real... this never happened.."

"It is real y/n....Everything I'm about to say is real...."

"No it's not....i know its not.."

"It is....... so why did you break up with me y/n?"

"This is just a hallucination.."

"You see.."

The hallucination gets closer to me.

"There's only one simple question i want you to answer."

"Leave me alone this never happened!!"

"Yes it did. Your mind just doesn't want you to believe it y/n..."

"Stop messing with me!!... Kai..where are you!!"

"Im right here!!",  says the hallucination while stretching his arms out to me, motioning for me to hug him

"Your not Kai." , i say while attempting to push away the hallucination, but my arms go through the body.

"Yes i am."

"Yes i am"

"I am Kai y/n"

"Why did you break my heart?"

"Why.."

"WHY?????????????"

I woke up panting and sweating.

That's not what happened that day.

Why was I hallucinating....?

I got out of my bed all sore and began walking out of my room.

I walked groggily and at a slow tired pace to the bathroom.

I opened the door and hung my head down low while hovering over the sink.

Why is this happening to me.....

All I did was reject Kai...

Why is this hurting me more than its hurting him?

Tears started to escape my eyes as i looked up to the mirror.

I checked time and then to my eyebags in the mirror.

Its 4 am...

I start to sob and stare at myself in the mirror with my hands on my head.

I feel paranoid...

I stare into the mirror again..

There were arms.

They reached out to me and then they grabbed me.

That is what i remember last from being knocked out.
