"Darren! No!" I yell at him. "Oh, Lena, please? It'll be fun! Just go down the slide!" "I told you not to call me that." Next thing I know I'm getting pushed towards the big pool slide.
Darren (also 5) 🥍
"I know, your name's Helena, not Lena. It's so much easier to call you Lena, though." I give her the final shove and off she goes. Once she's out of the pool, I see her stomping towards me. Oh, snap. I better run while I can.
