Failure is a bitter pill
For someone with the flu
One would hate to swallow it
Even when he has to
Failure is a large pothole
In the long, long road of life
When one stumbles upon it
It's hard to stand and strive
Failure is pitch darkness
It brings along the fears
You have no choice but to close your eyes
While wallowing in tears
Failure is a cold strong breeze
When one is standing naked
Left alone to linger and freeze
The warmth of hope departed
Failure is a part of life
Normal, sad, and accepted
Cause like the night, it soon subsides
When a brand new day has started.
