My Dearest Enemy

"Finally"
I said as soon as i reached the campus of united mubai university.
Well, it was my dream to get into UMU since i was a child.
My grandfather and my father went to UMU and now i and my brother agastya finally got the admission into our dream University.

"Will you move,or you'll stand here all day" my brother said as i stood in front of University like a statue.

I finally gain my senses and said "Big bro, for the sake of our family, don't be grumpy today and let me just see my dream standing in front me"

My big bro rolls his eyes and said "You will see it regularly for next three years and I'm not grumpy"

Now it was my turn to roll my eyes.
My big bro saying he is not grumpy is the biggest joke of the century.

"Nice joke" i finally said.

"I'm not joking, i never joke"

"Yeah, that's what grumpy people do"

"Seriously, maira, let's get inside before your dream University decide to rethink its decision" he said.

I roll my eyes and then checked my watch, it's 9:50 am and my first class is at 10:00 am. I still have 10 minutes for my first class. I know i might get late for my first class but i don't want my brother to follow me everywhere like my personal bodyguard so i decided to remain silent and stand like a statue. In my peripheral i could see bhai getting impatient.

"Seriously?" Agastya bhai said while i was busy avoiding him.

"What" i said as if i don't know anything.

"Look, little sis, I don't want to leave you alone on the first day of our college, and as your big brother i want you come inside with me so that i can attend my class"

"Funny, and btw I'm not little anymore big brother and i can go and find my classroom"

"I'm serious. maira, are coming with me or should i carry you on my shoulder inside the campus?" Agastya bhai said and now i can feel he is irritated so i decided to finally give up the plan of going alone to my classroom and went with him.

Obviously my big brother will follow me everywhere. God he is so irritating.

We reached together in front of my economics class.

"Be nice today, it's your first day" agastya bhai said.

I tried very hard not to roll my eyes. But it's getting late and I don't want to waste my time and energy arguing with my brother.
So i said "okay" with a cute smile on my face.

Agastya bhai watched me for few seconds and shook his head, i grin as i see his reaction. We finally said goodbye to each other and he went to find his classroom.

I take a deep breath and enter into my economics classroom. It's big and lots of students are already present here. I see a seat empty and decided to sit on it. After sitting I started taking out books.

"Omg, you're here" i hear a familiar voice. I turn my head in the direction of the voice and find annika, my best friend coming towards me.

I smile and said " hello to you too,anni".

We are best friend since we were children. My father and her father went to UMU and they are best friend till today. Our families share special bond. I'm friendly with everyone in her family except for one. Well I don't want to talk about him.

" I can't believe we are finally going to start our college together" anni said.

"Mee too, I'm happy that we are starting our college together" i said with a wide smile on my face.
