for the past week, nev and chris have quite literally been calling each other every waking second. it got to the point where larri wouldn't hear from her for hours because she was in her room talking to chris.

even matt, and nick noticed that they haven't been seeing much of chris since he came back to boston.

when chris texted nev, telling her that he FINALLY got his haircut, she facetimed him immediately.

"hair reveal!" nev said, while on facetime with chris.

chris took off his hood and gave her a full 360 of his head.

right then, larri barged in her room and sat next to her, observing chris's basic haircut.

"you went all the way back to boston for this?" lar asked, genuinely confused.

"larri, it's a nice haircut." nev defended.

"yeah, it is. but grandma does the same haircut to all my white friends. for free." he deadpanned. "where'd you get it?"

"dunno." chris shrugged. "my dad's friend is a barber, and he's been cutting my hair since I was in middle school. he just comes over from time to time."

"it looks nice." nev acknowledged.

"thanks." chris smiled.

"okay, I'm cutting this playdate short. nev has to go. bye chris!" lar snatched the phone from his sister.

"what?" both chris, and nev said in the same time.

larri hung up before either of them had a chance to stop him.

"do you think he even paid for it?" nev asked.

"huh?"

"the haircut." she reminded.

"oh." lar blinked, "no. i think marylou grabbed some kitchen scissors and cut his hair."

"i should call him and ask-"

"NO." larri groaned. "i literally haven't had a decent conversation with my beloved little sister because of some white boy! nev, i actually fucking miss you."

"you're right." nev nodded, acknowledging her negligence. "let's go out today. me and you."

"okay, get up." lar demanded.

"now?"

"yes."

lar and nev went to in n out.

"i almost forgot how good their burgers were!" nev said.

"we should come here more." larri suggested, earning a 'definately' from nev.

"nick was telling me that he thinks they're in their prime right now, which is why they're all focusing on filming and editing good quality videos."

"i wish nick would edit their vlogs like we do. they're already so funny, no doubt, but i feel like with editing like ours, they'd be doing even better." nev said.

"definitely." larri nodded. "you know, you're getting more followers now too. and i think it's because of how much chris has been reposting you on his story."

"really? i haven't noticed." nev opened instagram.

"hard to notice if you haven't opened the app in a week." he sassed.
