"yup." he nodded. although nev was never good at differentiating between accents, she knew that he wasn't speaking in a boston accent. it sounded more like a new jersey accent. they sounded very familiar to her.
"you're not from here, are you?" she asked as he walked them to his car.
"nope. i'm italian-american. from new jersey, to be more specific. we moved here like two years ago for my moms work."
