"Hey, I'm not that ugly!".

Delilah's POV:

   I was enjoying the time I was spending with Diego. He was a very nice, humourous man. I couldn't help but laugh at every joke he said.

  The only problem is that we both don't have very much in common. The only things we have in common is that we both love the beach, late night walks, and lastly fútbol.

   "Do you maybe want to spend some time at the beach before we leave?", Diego's deep voice said.

   "I'd love to."

   " Great, we better get going then."

   Diego called the waiter over. This time it was a different waiter. She was a tall, skinny, blonde-ish girl. She was really pretty.

  Diego asked her for the bill, and as he did, the waiter couldn't help but interrupt him.

  " Can I have your number? You're really cute." Her high pitched voice asked.

   " Umm actually I'm on a date, so I'd rather not." He declined.

   " Oh. I'm sorry."

   " It's okay." I interfered.

   " I'm sorry I wasn't talking to you.", The annoying blonde bitch said.

    " Yeah but I was just reassuring that it was fin-", I saidz but quickly got interrupted by her .

   " Yeah but he told me that he was on a date. That reassured me."

   " Ok jeez." I said as I slumped back into my chair.

   " I don't think it's a good idea to slump back, it's bad for your posture. Not that your posture is already bad enough.", She continued to bother.

  " Oh honey let's talk about those dead ends, and those teeth." I said. She looked embarrassed.

  " Your bill will come shortly." She said as she left.

  " That's what I thought." , I murmured.

   A couple of minutes later the bill came. Diego payed and I left a tip. Maybe that's going to help the waitress to pay for her haircut she needs.

A couple of minutes into the car ride towards the beach, I got a notification from my phone .

  
   Pedri has texted me.

   I got my phone and replied quickly, trying hard not to get Diego's attention.
