'He looks so cute when he's flustered~' I snap out of my thoughts when I feel a hand on my shoulder. I look behind me and see my friend Eugene. "Oh, hi Gene!"
"Hey Veritas. Who's this?" He questions at Hugo.
"That's Hugo."
"Oh, is he your boyfriend?"
"Oh! N-no h-he's n-n-not." I stutter as the tips of my ears get hot. I don't even dare look at Hugo because if I do I know my blush will get worse.
"Ok then, nice to me you Hugo Varian's friend~" I cover my face in embarrassment. I quickly compose my self though.
"You still going to set off the fireworks for me?" I ask Eugene.
"Yup, it's no problem V."
"Ok great!" I turn back to Hugo and walk towards him. I grab his wrist and pull him towards the place I chose to set up the fireworks and get to work.
(Time skip brought to you by "I feel like a bird!")
We finished setting up the fireworks and now me and Hugo are sitting on the palace roof. ALONE! My hands are so sweaty. 'What do I say, what do I do? Why is he so close!?' My mind is racing, but all thoughts in my head go silent when I hear Hugo say, "I had a lot of fun today Varian."
"Yeah me too." 'Wait did he just use my name!? I like when he says my name. It gives my a warm feeling. Wait what-'
"Take a picture, it'll last longer.~" I realized I was staring and quickly turn my head in a blush.
"I-I-I'm s-s-sorry." I stammer. I look back at him and he lets out a small chuckle while pulling his bangs back with his hand, 'OH MI GOD THAT'S HOT' My blush intensifies. He puts his hand back down and leans on it. He looks at me with a small, sweet smile and I just can't help my self...
