Theodore shrugged at Malik’s surprise like it was a normal deal and Marcus rolled his eyes at Maeve who was using her eyes to ask him questions.

‘I’m not doing this’ Malik said closing the contract and placing it on the table between them. 

‘Hey, you have to do this, since it’s all your fault’ Theodore said and Malik raised an eyebrow

‘If hadn’t been so kind hearted I wouldn’t be in this mess’ Malik stared at the ground understanding what he meant and it seemed that Maeve was left out

‘Can you explain why he needs to agree’ Maeve asked getting a look from both CEO, not caring, she shrugged. 

‘After yesterday incident, the Chairman found him a husband’ Marcus explained since he couldn’t change the young heir mind because if he could he would have kicked Malik and his saucy secretary out of the office Maeve nodded in acknowledgement. 

‘I’ve been trying to prove to him that responsible enough to take over the company for a couple of months, now my hard work is fucked up because he thinks I had sex with you’ Theodore added and Maeve eyes widened

‘Did you guys have…you know’ Maeve asked hiding her squeal

‘No!’ both Theodore and Malik answered causing Maeve to feel a bit disappointed 

‘I thought you finally lost that virginity if yours’ 

‘Maeve’ 

‘What!’ 

‘When did you switch out of secretary mode?’

‘After marriage contract’ Maeve replied and Malik let out grunt

‘So how long does this last’ Malik asked, it wouldn’t be that bad, right? Being engaged to a man who reminds you of two different people. 

‘Can’t say, until my dad is convinced and drop the arrange marriage which mean if we have to wed to convince him we would and maybe later we could divorce. 

‘What?!’ it was Marcus turn to shout gaining questionably looks from everyone. ‘I’m going to make coffee’ Marcus said and went to the kitchen which was located at the side of the office.

‘Latte!’ Maeve said after him, brewing Marcus anger

‘Weird Freak’ he muttered.

‘So who were you engaged to’ Malik asked getting back their attention

‘I don’t care which man he has arranged but I suspect it might be some rich heir’ Theodore said picking on his fingernails

‘Have you been in any relationship’ Maeve asked Theodore

‘No’

‘Two amateurs’ 

‘Where do we start’ Malik asked after rolling his eyes at Maeve words

‘My dad is watching my every move, all we just have to do is act like couples and it would reach him’ 

‘First date!’ Maeve said getting all eyes on her, including Marcus’ who was coming with the coffee, he handed one to Theodore and sip from the other. 

‘Ours?’ Maeve said and he nodded to the direction of the kitchen where two mugs were placed beside of the coffee making. Maeve went to get it but not after glaring at the black man.

‘Your secretary was right, we go on dates, lots of them’ the young heir said

‘Also best friend, I would take care of it since you both are amateurs to this area and I suspect your secretary is’ Maeve said, making it her mission to get on Theodore’s secretary nerves.
