Taani heard the fake breakup plan of Rey,  she was broken.
Taani came to Mumbai not for Rey but for her Taiji who was depressed due to son distant behaviour, he distant himself completely from his parents. When Taani got to know she wanted to know the reason for his changed behaviour, she came mumbai and with time tried to befriend his friends but they had a big fat ego and always would taunt her for being a non dancer. It's Rey who fell for her innocence and kind nature, he proposed her and she too had a certain liking towards him so she  accepted, after being in relationship, he started taking her for granted and she being understanding let it go but his friends behaviour never changed they started getting personal and insulting her that she doesn't deserve him, nor Rey or Swayam stop them, they would stay quiet. There's no track of Taani asking said him to hide his identity as tauji had hardly come mumbai due to taiji health. Taani is born and brought up in Dehradun, she used to come for holidays to jodhpur, after her parents death, her badimaa (her mom's elder sister) took her home, she and her family were protective, loving and care her alot. Her badimaa had two sons - Arjun Goenka, his wife Ishita. Rishab - younger son, same age of Taani, calls her Taani Partner.

Characters

Taani Shekhawat - innocent, kind and loving girl, lost her parents at young age, born in Dehradun and stayed there with her Badi maa and her family who love her unconditionally, studying last year graduation.

Reyansh/ Rey - loves dance, his passion and his friends, Taani is his gf but takes her for granted.
