Chapter 30

Next day they went back to India with Adi and Rey. Months passed, Adi used to come every month to meet his Jaan, spent time, there love grew more stronger and deeper, Taani had a grown more confident, she topped her University, Sanu and Rishu too scored pretty well, Kriya and Jen too scored well, Kriya's mom was happy and satisfied. Rey too completed his MBA, his dad shifted the main branch to mumbai and his parents to moved to mumbai permanently, Rey started working in their company still he would visit Solanki Company every now and then to meet Arjun, Adi and also the staff he's being comfortable with, he would seek Arjun and Adi's guidance whenever he would stuck anywhere, he was doing really well, he's bond with Solanki's was beautiful. He even found that gang boys were sincerely working on themselves, they were working hard, he felt them regretting so he forgive them, they were friends again but things were different, their bond changed and they know so they accept as it is, because they know it's their fault and their were thankful that after all the things still he forgave them, so they were happy. Girls were happy as Rey has befriend them but still they were upset that things were changed, Sharon was furious that Rey is completely changed and even the boys remain distant, she tried a lot to get everything between the gang normal but all her attempts couldn't fill the void, for Swayam, everything felt difficult the day Taani left but he consoled himself thinking she may comeback to him, after Rey too changed and gang didn't remain the same, he tried to talk to them but nothing worked, he tried knowing the reason for Rey's change and also the boys weren't same now, first Taani then Rey and then boys everyone were going far from him,he felt like loosing his sanity. Rithvik was appointed as ACP of the city, Ishu was in her final year. The trio(Taani, Sanvi and Rishu) were back to India, the family was happy, Adi was the happiest now he would meet and spend time with her anytime he want, Taani too was happy now she can be with her family and with her Adith. The elders decided to get them married, as it's 2years they are engaged. Rishab and Reet were finally declared as official couple all the family knew and had no objection infact were thrilled with the news. Rey and Kriya were back but after lots of hesitation, insecurities, fear then finally gave chance to their love. Kriya was the one who initiated but in pool of insecurities Rey didn't reciprocate and Kriya was heartbroken again, Rey was hurt for hurting her again and also for not acknowledging the love. Taani who noticed him disturbed and also seeing Kriya dull, she decided to talk to Rey,
Taani - Rey I know I shouldn't intrude your privacy still I couldn't stop myself asking hope you don't mind
Rey - nahi Taani bolo na jo bhi tumhe bolna hai I won't mind
Taani - Rey, is something wrong between you and Kriya
Rey was hesitant but composing himself he said how Kriya proposed him and he told her they are friends and he don't want to take things forward between them, kriya was heartbroken and just left and now she's avoiding him. He's feeling bad. Taani heard everything silently as he ended sighing rubbing his face with his palms.
Taani - hmm Rey will you tell me honestly aapko exactly bura kis cheez ka lagara hai that kriya aapko avoid kar rahi hai yaa woh hurt isliye aap guilty feel kar rahe ho yaa phir isliye ke you aren't able to voice out your feelings to her
Rey looked at her shocked,
Rey - Taani honestly speaking mujhe kuch samaj nahi aara, I'm definitely guilty that I hurted her and I'm feeling bad that she's avoiding me, I'm very confused and I don't know what should I do
Taani - Rey calm down, Rey aap se sach kaho toh mujhe lagta hai you're scared and insecure
Rey looked perplexed, he opened mouth to say something but she stopped him
Taani - Rey let me complete, (he nodded), you're insecure because your previous relationship didn't work and you suffered heartbreaks and that were painful for you to come out of it so your trying to protect yourself, your scared to get yourself hurt again
Rey was taken back, this was the exact reason which is hidden deep down inside him, he just don't want to hurt anyone in the name of love, his both relationship broke because of him so he didn't want to enter into relationship.
Taani - I know Rey what you're feeling because even I have come across that stage where I didn't wanted to get into relationship after the major heartbreak, I felt I'm not meant for all this love, relationship ( Rey looked guilty), sorry Rey for reminding you and you don't have to be guilty, but aap hi socho agar maine khud ko or pyaar ko ek mauka nahi dete toh aaj Adith meri life mein nahi hote and main itna khush nahi hoti right (Rey nodded with a smile) waise hi even you should give a chance Rey to yourself, to Kriya, to love, Krishna ji ne aapko phir se mauka diya hai isse mat kho
Rey was listening everything absorbing everything what she's trying to say
Taani - or ek baat bataye insecure sirf aapko hi hai kya, Kriya ko nahi hai, usko toh aapse zyada hoga( Rey looked shocked) ji haan just for once think from her perceptive, she might be scared that again your friends would try to separate you guys like last time, she would land into the situation where she have to choose between her mom and you, she may again leave her everything for someone else's mistake, usko kitne saare insecurities hongi upar se aapne usko mana kar diya, she might think love is not meant for her, uski jitni bhi insecurities hai woh double ho jayenge
Rey went numb, no ways he can't let her think all this, he can't let this chance to slip, life has given him again a chance to rectify his mistakes, again love is on his door step he don't want to loose it, he stood up,
Rey - no Taani you're right I can't loose Kriya, I have to confess her my love
Taani smiled widely, Rey looked at her, "thank you so much Taani tumne phir se meri life mein khushiyan laye hai, I'm really grateful for having you as friend" he said hugged her, she too reciprocated, "ab jao go and confess, all the best" she pushed him lightly, he ran away thanking her. Maybe Taani and Rey are not together as a couple now but they are definitely good friends and well-wishers of eachother and always hold a special place in eachothers life, Rey has learnt what's true love only because of Taani and because of her he could a big huge family, who love him, support him and care for him, and now only due to Taani he meet Kriya again, he couldn't be enough grateful for her presence in his life. For Taani maybe Rey has hurted her in past but she can't forget that today if she didn't had that painful stage she won't meet her love, her family and new friends, so she's thankful to Rey not for the breakup but for respecting her.
He asked his Di help to plan surprise for her, he danced for her and confessed his love to her and also asked forgiveness for hurting her, Kriya was overjoyed, they inform to their families about them, as Rey didn't wanted the mistake to repeat, he went to Kriya's mom told about them, she was happy for them specially for her daughter now she was guilt ridden, Rey's parents were happy for their son's happiness, they whole heartedly accepted Kriya.
Taani started working in Shekawat as the CEO, Rishu and Sanu joined Solanki's. Reet too shifted to the Mumbai branch working in Singhania's. The gang was facing difficulty for searching sponsers, all their previous sponsers were feed up by their attitude, sometimes they were late, their rude behaviour towards the staff, once for all they stopped investing on them, Rey had an idea, the boys and Rey tried to make things right but Sharon and girls i.e Vishakha and Simi were the ones who showed attitude everywhere because of them they lost some of the events too, so the boys remain quiet. But now they are in need of sponsors or any events. They got information that there's a event they applied for it and got selected, they have to perform and will get a good pay, they immediately agreed. They started rehearsals, Rey was informed about the performance, he was fine with it, he would come for dance practice.
As the elder Solanki's and Shekawat were discussing about the wedding dates, Arjun said he'll talk to Taani and Adi but Adi was extremely busy with a important project and  he hardly got time to come home or talk to anyone, Arjun talked to Taani, she said she'll talk to Adi and asked his help as she was planning to surprise him, the younger clan excitedly agreed to help her. Taani was excited and nervous as it's always him who plans surprise for her, this is the first she would surprise him so she was extremely excited and nervous as what if he doesn't like it, there's no chance that he won't love her surprise but still a tiny doubt but brushing off the negative thought, she started with her plan. Adi wrapped his work and was thinking to just take his Jaan out, it's been long since they went out spend some time, as he was engrossed in the project now as the project ended all he wants is a some alone time with his Jaan. He reached home straight went to get bath to wipe off the tiredness, after taking a relaxing bath, he came out to find a dress kept on the bed, with a note
"Today is the day for new beginnings and for taking a leap of faith. Will you take this leap with me
I'm waiting for you, where our journey began
With love yours and only yours Taani"
As he read his smile curved on his lips, "jaan you're gonna make me more crazy for you" he kissed the note, took the dress, wore it and came out. He heard a whistle, he turned to find his bhabhi and Sanu, he had a bright smile on his face showing his happiness, "offo devar sa aaj toh kamaal dhamaal lag rahe ho" said with a teasing smile, "lagenge kyu nahi bhabhi aakhir unki Jaan ne jo select kiye hai kapade" said Sanu with a mischievous glint, he rubbed his neck embarassed making them giggle. Avni pulled his cheek, "chalo ab jao tumhari Savari tyaar hai tumhe tumhari manzil pe pahunchane" said Avni, hi-fi with Sanu, he shaked his head at their non ending teasing session, 'oh how badly he wants to see his Jaan', he bid them bye came out to find his bhai standing leaning on the car, "bhai aap bahar kya kar rahe ho" said Adi, "I have to got duty to drop you to your destination" said Arjun, Adi sighed,"bhai that's not needed, I'll go by own" said, "no worries I'll drop you, apni behen ke liye itna toh kar hi sakta ho" said with a smile, he nodded knowing no escape, both got seated, Arjun started driving, "bhai batao toh jana kaha jaa rahe hai", "nahi bata sakta, sit quiet and let me drive" said sternly so that he won't ask anything. Adi huffed, he was thinking about the lines wrote in the note, 'journey started, new beginning' the words were ringing in his mind, 'what could it be', he kept thinking, the car came to hault, breaking his trance, "we reached" said Arjun, he removed his seat belt, he looked at Arjun finding him sitting with seat belt, "aap nahi aarahe", "no it's your day go" said with a smile, he nodded with a smile, came out, Arjun drive back, Adi moved to the entrance to find it's a event show, he confusedly looked around, then the words from the note, 'today, new journey, new beginning' then it flashed, he proposed his love to her for the first time on the same place, same event, 'does that mean even she'll.....' he felt excited. Vikku came to Adi, kept his hand on his shoulder to bring him out of his thoughts, "bhai", Adi snapped, "andher chale aap hi ka intezar ho raha hai" said with a smile, Adi nodded with excitement, they moved inside, he stood in front of a stage, it looked same like the previous one which he arranged, he's eyes were searching for her.
