A/N This is roughly what happened before the book, only Katakka is replaced with Anuri, and she marries Aang, not Bumi (could you seriously imagine Bumi ever dating anyone?) Kuzon never betrays them. Occasionally there will be flashbacks to my version of the Gaang: Aang, Kuzon, Bumi, Anuri, Nezu, and Hama (sometimes). (I guess Katara's version is the Krew? Cause Korra won't be the next Avatar?) And yes, this will be Zutara.

AG=After Genocide
0AG: Sozin attacks the Air Nomads, all but Aang die. Commander Asuko and her combustionbenders start hunting Aang. Aang goes to the Northern Water Tribe with Bumi and Kuzon
1AG: They arrive at the NWT and meet Anuri
3AG: Attack on Agna Qel'a, the invasion is repelled by Anuri and Commander Asuko is killed. Anuri is banished from the NWT and joins Team Avatar. Nezu and Saru start hunting the team
5AG: Team Avatar arrives back in Omashu where Aang and Bumi learn earthbending after various hijinks
8AG: Aang is declared an earthbending master
12AG: Saru is discovered as a traitor, Nezu and Team Avatar break her out of prison, Nezu and Saru join the team, Saru (a master firebender) starts training Aang and Kuzon
15AG: Aang masters firebending and the Avatar State, becoming a fully realized Avatar and entering the war for real
16AG: Aang and Anuri get married, Battle of Han Tui
17AG: Battle of Garsai, death of Saru and Chief Koanak
18AG: Tenzin, an airbender, is born to Aang and Anuri
20AG: Fire Lord Sozin dies, is replaced by Fire Lord Azulon
25AG: Hu Xin provinces are conquered
40AG: The team travels to the Southern Water Tribe and meets Hama
