Lexi's POV

"I don't understand I've been here 4 years!" I exlaimed at my boss or now ex boss "We have no need for you anymore Alexis, we're letting you go." I stand there shocked but don't say anything instead I pick up my jacket and walk out of the door. Great.

I get into my car and drive home. I unlock the front door " Pete, you'll never believe the day I had." I start. "Pete?" I walk to my bed room, I open the door and see Pete and THE NEIGHBOR? "Baby please it's not what it looks like i swear" Pete pleaded instead I turned around and walked out the door. I start to cry as I get into my car. I pull out my phone and click on contacts. My phone rings "Hey Mom, can I come stay with you please"?
What an awesome day.
"Yes of course honey but whats wrong why are you crying"
"I got fired today and when I came home I walked in on Pete cheating on me" I explain
"I never liked that guy" I heard my dad say. "Jimmy shut up. Honey I'll book you a plane ticket out here okay?" "Okay love you mom and dad"
"we love you babygirl." They say softly as I hang up. 26 and moving back in with my parents. I never imagned this happening. I pull into the taco bell parking lot and messaged my best friend from all throughout school.

Me: Hey my fav gingy guess who's moving back. Your favorite person!!

My Gingy: Your brother?

Me: Wow Ginger. Low blow.

My Gingy: Rude. Why are you coming back?

Me: Oh yk being fired AND cheating on is quite great.

My Gingy: Damn, Sorry Lex. I'll pick you up at the airport. Not asking.

Me: Okay mother geez. But fr thanks Wy. See you tmrw.

I smile knowing Wyatt is still here for me. I haven't talked to him in months because Pete made me. He always thought me and Wyatt were more than friends. Ugh. I sigh and walk into taco bell.
