That was my favorite person ever. I loved that lady with my whole heart. They had a few of the guys do the same prompt as me, so I took this time to post on instagram.

After posting, it was time for us to do our team pictures. We did that for maybe thirty more minutes before Coach let us go. "Them new unis tough as hell son," Meech said as i dapped him up. "Boy who you tellin'. Finna look to clean on the field," I said as we all laughed. "Y'all going to the cafe?" I nodded as Josey asked us. Our whole friend group decided to go, that being Me, Meech, and Josey. We walked in and that when it hit my that it was Friday. Everybody had on the best fits, and when I say they was dropped out I meant that shit. One person in particular caught my eye though. Really she caught my eyes last year on instagram, but it's nice seeing the face in person. "Damn she fine as hell," I mumbled as Meech smiled looking in the same direction. "Fuck you smiling for bitch nigga?" I said as he smacked his lips, shoving me. "Anyways, fuck nigga, I saw my girl. I'm finna go speak," he said. I walked over with him as he approached the group of girls. "Hey ladies how y'all doing? Hey mama," he said as he kissed the dark skin girl. I smiled, happy for my boy, before speaking. "How y'all doing, I'm Jelo," I introduced myself, as they did the same. "I'm Raven," Meech's girl said. "Angel...Aneesah...Kimora," the girls introduced themselves. I couldn't help but to stare at Angel though. She was definitely thorough. Literally embodied her name perfectly. "What you finna get into after this boo?" Raven asked as he wrapped his arms around her waist. "Nothing we had media, now we Finna go to this day party. You and your girls tryna slid?" She looked back and they all agreed but the Angel girl. "I got a booking, I'll catch y'all next time though," she said as she stood up, throwing away her trash. Everyone said bye as she left and she waved before keeping on. I couldn't help but after the entire way out cause she was so enticing. "Damn gang you good?" Meech said tapping my chest. I shook my head nodding. "Yeah I'm cool. Say, you know her well?" I asked as we walked back towards our table. He shook his head as we sat down. "Nah I know she on the basketball team thats it. Why you tryna get on that?" He asked as I shrugged. "Maybe. Ion know. I don't really know nun about shorty she could have a man or be gay for All I know," i said as the rest of the niggas laughed. "Shit, well they having a lil barbecue, kick back thingy later. Y'all tryna fade that?" Josey asked as Meech and I agreed. "Shit why not. Maybe Jelo ass can finally get his dick wet this semester,"Meech joked. I waved them off laughing. "Shit y'all niggas be thinking bout the wrong shit. I ain't gonna be out here fucking on any and everybody. That shit dead as hell," I protested as Josey laughed. "You just gotta wrap it up. Problem solved," he said as if it was the most profound shit he'd ever thought of. "Yeah you slow as hell nigga," I said laughing. We finished eating our food before going our separate ways. I walked over to the gym to get another work out in before realizing the door was closed. I tried to use my student ID to scan in but instead of Turing green and unlocking it turned red and buzzed. "What the fuck?" I mumbled as I went to turn around, bumping into a body. "Oh shit my bad. You good miss?" I said as I caught the girl before she could fall. She laughed nodding as she thanked me. "Yeah, thanks. Is it locked today?" She asked as I nodded. "Yeah well all way for me. You can try though," I said as she tried to scan her ID. It did the same to her and we laughed. "Damn they don't want us in the gym. That's crazy. Hey, what's your name? I don't think I even asked and you saved me from that fall," she giggled, pushing some hair behind her ear. "I'm Jelani, and don't worry pretty girl it would've been my fault anyways. But uh, could I get your name too? Or do I gotta keep calling you pretty girl?" I said flirting a bit. I couldn't help myself, it was natural. "Mm well my name is Kiyomi, but you can definitely keep calling me pretty girl," she said as I smiled brightly. "I think I will. Say, you busy tonight pretty girl?" I asked as she shook her head. "Wanna come to this little barbecue kick back thingy?" I offered as she Agreed. "Yeah that sounds fun. Let me get your number so I can let you know when I'm ready for you to pick me up," she said as I gasped at her. "Oh you smooth as hell! Haha, naw but lemme see your phone, you got it mama," I said as she laughed shrugging. "I'm just straight forward. I'm not finna waste your time or mine," she said as I nodded. "I respect that for real. Well you got my number so hit me when you're ready and I'll come scoop you," I said as I hugged her and we went our separate ways. "But I can't get my dick wet if I wanted too, psh," I mumbled to myself as I walked towards my on-campus apartment.
