Chapter 18

Naina's POV

I started preparing for the dinner as it is North Indian so I decided to make Dal makhani, Shahi paneer along with aloo naan.

Namrita (our helper) is helping me today , I told her that I will do by myself but she didn't let me too and told me she don't know how to cook north Indian food so she will learn by helping , then I let her to help me.

I was done preparing all the things by 6:30 p.m. , I went to his room and took a shower and then changed in my comfortable PJ's because mom told me that they don't have any problem if I wear PJ's in front of her.

I was in my room just checking my phone texting mom that I will stay at his house from now on so don't wait for me..........just then I heard someone knocking the door and without looking I told the person to come in

"Bhabhi, what are you doing ??? Come lets go we will start our party night , my friend Nisha is here" Shivani told me coming inside the room, sitting beside me on the bed

"But Shivani how can I come now.......you guys start I will join you after serving dinner to mom dad and to your both brothers" I told her putting my phone aside

"But bhabhi.......it's not dinner time yet.......mom and dad will have dinner at 7:30 and bhai , don't know when he will be home" she said whining like a child

"But Shivani, try to understand na bacha (baby)" I tried to explain her but she took my hand and started dragging me god knows where

We came in the hall and I saw a girl there

"Nisha , meet my bhabhi , Mrs Naina Oberoi and bhabhi she is my friend Nisha" Shivani introduced us

"Hii Nisha" I told her shaking my hand

"Hi bhabhi....it's really nice to meet you........ Shivani used to talk about you a lot and finally I got the chance to meet you" Nisha told me making my cheeks red

"Thank you and it's nice to meet you too.......you sit , I will get you something" I told her and about to go inside the kitchen then Shivani hold my hand stopping me to go

"Wait bhabhi , I will tell mom dad to have dinner early today and we will eat when we are hungry and don't worry about bhai ......they both can serve themselves.......now I won't hear any excuses, you are coming with us NOW" she told me firmly , before I could object she already went to mom dad's room and in next moment they are in the hall

"Bhabhi, they are ready for early dinner todayyy........." She told me all excited like a child

"But your friend, let her have something na" I tried to say but she cut me off in this

"It's okay bhabhi......I will ask myself when I feel like having something" Nisha told me making me sigh

"I am sorry mummy papa act......." I tried to say again but they cut me off

"It's okay beta , we don't have any problem, as long as we are eating the food cooked by you.......I am so excited and hungry also" papa told me making me smile

I quickly went inside the kitchen and come back with bowls of food

I served mom and dad and waited for their reaction

I saw dad is making faces , maybe he don't like what I made.......ohhh God why it's happening, I closed my eyes ready to hear him saying he is not hungry anymore

"Beta......I didn't believe that you can cook these things so well......it's like I am eating resturant food......very delicious" dad told me making me surprise
