Khenan's Pov

"I'm sorry, Mr. Humming. There's nothing else I can do."

Looking down at the doctor, I sighed and turn back towards a lightly pale Gina who was asleep with my great-grandchildren fast asleep.

"It's fine, thank you for your time. My assistant will take you to his office so that you can receive your payment." I said

"Have a good day, Mr. Humming."

After the doctor said that, she bowed her head out of respect and left the room.

"Why? Why won't you wake up, little bear? Could your past be the reason why you won't wake up?" I asked quietly

Bending down, I kissed Gina, Bella, and Eli on the forehead and quietly left out of the room.

"What did she say?"

Turning to my right, I saw Amelia leaning against the wall and a worried Sarah pacing back and forth.

"She said there's nothing else she can do. Gina has to wake up on her own." I said

"Did she say how long it will take or what we can do to wake her up?" Sarah asked worriedly

"She said can take days, months, even years for her to wake up, but she said if we talk to her daily, it'll motivate her to wake up." I said

"We'll have to try and see if that'll work." Amelia said while sighing

"If you want, you two can go see her." I said

After I said that, they both quickly but quietly went into the room.

I shook my head and smiled.

Following in behind them, I closed the door and walked over next to Amelia.

"I'm horrible mother. I... I let my daughter suffer so...so much and couldn't do anything to save...save her from that torture." Sarah said as tears trailed down face

"Sarah, don't blame yourself. You didn't remember anything, even the fact that you were five months pregnant at the time. It isn't your fault that Lorenzo lied to you, but you knew something was wrong when he had told you that you agreed to send Gina away when she turned three for her outstanding academics. At the time, you were pushing yourself too hard trying to remember everything and it started to take a toll on your body." Amelia said worriedly

Walking over to Sarah, I pulled her into a hug.

"Your mother's right, Sarah. It isn't your fault, but it's Lorenzo's fault that he didn't check the school's background and for sending Gina away without evidence. Don't look back at the past, but look towards the future and be thankful that Gina is here with us now." I said while rubbing her back

"I just want her to wake up. It's been more than a week since she fell into this state. More than a week, we had doctors check her condition and all of them said they couldn't anything. I just want Gina back." Sarah said while crying and hiccuping

"Sarah, we know who had Gina over the past twelve years after." Amelia said while wiping Sarah's tears away

"What?" Sarah said with shock
