President Elect Theodore Knocks had just stepped on stage with his Vice President, a while ago, to give more interviews and speeches. Now, he sat in his suite, feeling utterly exhausted. William, his assistant, was sitting beside him, vigorously typing away on his computer. Theodore couldn't help but feel annoyed by the constant sound of the keyboard, which was only adding to his already pounding headache.

Looking up from his computer, William glared at Theodore. He was clearly irritated by the President Elect's complaint. "And would you stop acting like a whiny child and go see her already," he snapped back, his frustration evident in his voice.

Theodore, taken aback by William's harsh response, gave him a side-eye look. "I'm not moping," he retorted, trying to defend himself.

William scoffed, clearly not convinced. "Yeah, sure you aren't," he replied sarcastically, his tone dripping with skepticism.

"I'm not," Theodore insisted, feeling a mix of frustration and hurt at William's accusation.

William, not one to back down easily, pointed out the obvious. "You haven't seen her in a week, and you're free tonight. Why don't you take her to that rooftop restaurant you like, the one that sells all that disgusting seafood?" he suggested, not holding back his disdain for Theodore's culinary preferences.

Theodore gasped, feeling deeply offended by William's comment about his favorite foods. "How dare you," he exclaimed, his voice filled with indignation.

William shrugged, unapologetic. "Just being honest here," he replied casually, clearly not bothered by Theodore's reaction.

"Keep it to yourself," Theodore snapped, his frustration reaching its peak. "And I will ask Nia to go with me," he added, determined to prove William wrong.

Rolling his eyes, William watched as Theodore stormed out of the room, leaving him alone with his thoughts.

Now in his suit, Theodore promptly pulled out his phone and dialed Nia's phone. However, to his disappointment, it went straight to voicemail. He had a feeling this would happen since she had mentioned earlier that she had a class play to rehearse with her art kids. Determined to reach her, Theodore decided to call her multiple times, attempting to get through. After calling her 10 times with no success, Theodore realized he needed to find an alternative solution. He promptly requested a ride from his driver, who was already waiting outside along with a few of his secret service men.

Having already informed the driver of Nia's address, Theodore and his entourage set off, hoping to get directions from her once they arrive at her workplace. As they reached the destination, Theodore was greeted by a woman wearing an apron stained with paint. It was clear that she recognized him and was taken aback by his presence. "Oh my God, sir, what are you doing here?" she exclaimed, her voice filled with surprise and confusion.

Theodore could see the shock on her face and understood her need to catch her breath. "I apologize, but I'm here to see Nia Wells," he calmly replied, trying to put her at ease. The woman nodded, her mouth slightly agape, still processing the unexpected visit. "Just give me a minute," she said, disappearing behind a nearby desk. Theodore took a seat on a nearby sofa, not far from the entrance, and overheard her whispering into the phone. "The President Elect is here! Girl, you better spill all the details once you're done. How does he know you? Hurry up and come down!....oh right I'll just let him know, "

Theodore couldn't help but chuckle at the woman's excitement, which she heard and acknowledged. Once the call ended she walked up to Theodore, "Unfortunately, Nia can't leave the kids unattended, would you like to go in and have a seat and wait?"

Theodore nodded, glad," Okay just goes right down that hall, make a left and you'll see a big brown doors. She's right there," Theodore followed the woman's instructions and walked down the hall, his footsteps echoing in the empty corridor. As he turned left, he couldn't help but notice the grandeur of the big brown doors that stood before him. They were adorned with intricate carvings, a testament to the rich history of the place. With a sense of anticipation, he pushed open the doors and entered the room.

Inside, the room was filled with the joyful sounds of children's laughter and the sweet melody of a familiar song. Theodore's eyes scanned the scene before him, taking in the sight of the kids gathered around a small stage. They were dressed in colorful costumes, their faces beaming with excitement. The children were gathered around her, their tiny voices harmonizing as they sang "Build a Snowman." Their innocent faces were filled with excitement and delight, their eyes sparkling with anticipation.

As Theodore took a seat in the back of the room, his gaze inadvertently met Nia's. Her eyes widened in surprise, her lips parting slightly in recognition.

She quickly composed herself, turning her attention back to the children, but Theodore could still see a hint of a smile playing at the corners of her mouth. A surge of warmth spread through his chest, and his mind began to wander into a realm of possibilities. He imagined a future where they would build a life together, filled with love, laughter, and the pitter-patter of tiny feet. The image of Nia as a mother, nurturing and caring, blended seamlessly with the enchanting scene unfolding before him.

After the rehearsal was over and the children had left, Nia approached Theodore, her red coat in her hand. She had a smile on her face, that Theodore found to be the most beautiful smile. Theodore felt his heart skip a beat as he observed Nia.

"President Elect Knocks," she said, her voice gentle and inviting. "What brings you here today?"

Theodore swallowed hard, his nerves mingling with excitement. He couldn't help but stumble over his words as he replied, "I... I wanted to see you. I missed you."

A soft smile tugged at Nia's lips, and she reached out to gently touch his hand. "I missed you too," she whispered, her voice filled with tenderness.

Theodore's heart swelled with a mix of relief and happiness. In that moment, he knew he had made the right decision to come find her. As their fingers intertwined, their eyes locked once again, and the world around them faded into the background. The chemistry between them was undeniable, and as Nia leaned in closer, Theodore's heart skipped a beat.

"Also that was amazing. You're really great with kids," he said, trying to sound casual. Nia smiled, "Thanks, it's my passion," Theodore took a deep breath, "I was wondering if you'd like to go on another date with me,?" Nia's face lit up.

"I'd love to." As Nia's face lit up with excitement, Theodore's heart skipped a beat.

He couldn't help but feel a surge of relief and joy. It was clear that she felt the same way about him. As he helped her put on her jacket, their hands brushed against each other, sending a shiver down his spine. The simple touch was electric, and he couldn't help but feel a surge of warmth and affection.
