Meera rushed into the washroom and emptied all her stomach. She was having morning sickness every morning nowadays. And this would really exhaust her.

Pregnancy is new for her and she is trying to adapt the changes happening in her body.

Fact that she was young and  didn't have much needed knowledge. Sadly, she had nobody to guide her to take care of herself.

Abhiraj woke up hearing Meera's voice and went to look after her. He stood at the door of the washroom as Meera washed her face.

He forwarded her the towel to wipe her face. He obviously knew that this would happen, he had experienced it with his first wife.

---

Meera was standing aside while the rest of the family was having their breakfast.

"Babasa, Maasa aaj sharmaji ke beti ki shaadi hai."Abhiraj spoke in between the bites.

( Today is sharma's daughter's marriage)

" Yes! He came to invite us that day"
His babasa replied.

"Even, yesterday he insisted me for coming. We need to go there with family." Abhiraj declared.

"Chalo thik hai. Sab taiyaar ho jana sham ko."His babasa said getting up.

(OK then, be ready everyone)

"Bindni" Meera's mother in law called before entering in Meera's room.

"Ji, Maasa" Meera corrected her veil. It was afternoon time and Meera was taking rest after completing the household chores.

" What are you going to wear in the wedding?" Her mother in law enquired.

" Humne socha nahi hai abhi tak, Maasa. Mayke se jo lehenga laye the unme se ek Pehen lenge." Meera said, suddenly remembering that she needs to go wedding.

(I haven't thought of it yet. I will wear something out of the lehengas I brought from my maternal house)

" Bindni, Tum ab is ghar ki bahu ho, tumhe lagta hai tumhare mayke ke kapde hamare khandaan ki barabari kar payenge??" Meera's mother in law spoke up in annoyance.

Meera looked down, she was again bringing the topic.  Why just she can't keep aside the difference between the  standards of the two families??

" Acha hua hum tumse puchne aa Gaye warna to tum hamare khandaan ki izzat sabke samne kharab kar deti . Aur logo ko bolne ka moka mil jata ki sarpanch ki biwi ke pass dhag ke kapde tak nahi hai."

(Thank God I came and asked you otherwise you  were ready to tarnish our respect in front of people.  People would have got chance to speak that wife of the sarpanch doesn't have good clothes to wear.)

"Come, I will give you a lehenga to wear." Meera followed her to her room.

She took out a lehenga from a big wooden box and some jewelleries from her wardrobe.

"This color will suit you" The lehenga was of magenta pink color with heavy embroidery at its border. Meera liked it and the jewelleries had kundan work on it.

"Return it after the wedding."

"Ji" Meera replied meekly.

It was evening, Meera was getting in her room.

Abhiraj got ready early, Meera started getting when Abhiraj told her to, otherwise they will be late. And he left the room for her.

Meera already wore the lehenga, her hairs were done neatly in a bun, a bindiya on her head. The nuth in her nose and two neckpieces in her neck.

Her eyes were drawn with Kajal and a natural lip color on her lips. She was now fixing her earing which was taking to much time to fix.
