Spencer never really had a childhood, his father absent and his mother a schizophrenic. Rossi and Hotch step in and help him out, something to help him cope. The team step in as his aunts/uncles and are more than happy to help their pretty boy.
Spencer wasn't really allowed too much sugar, he had his own drawer filled with chocolate and sweets but it was very rare for him to have loads of it because it just makes him crazy. Of course he was allowed something from the drawer as a treat or a dessert but it wasn't a lot.
"Ok you, what fruit would you like with your pancakes?" Rossi asks him.
"Stawbewwy papa" Spencer smiles at him.
"That all?"
"Nanana an' bwue ones pwease"
"Some banana and blueberries?" He asks him just to double check.
"Uh huh"
"Ok" Rossi serves up breakfast before cleaning Spencer up so Hotch could go and get him dressed for the day.
"Fank wou papa"
"No problem kiddo"
"Ok, we finished with breakfast?" Hotch asks him.
"Uh huh dada"
"Alright, let's go and get dressed" he takes Spencer into his room before picking an outfit out and lying Spencer on the changing table. He changes his nappy before putting him into a white fire truck vest top, a pair of jeans and a light blue Mickey and Friends jumper.

"Alright, everyone should be here soon, go play" Hotch tidies the room a little bit before making sure Spencer's things were ready for his nap later in the day.
"Unca Der 'ere" Spencer cheers.
"Alright, wait for papa please" Rossi reminds him as he caught up to Spencer by the front door. He opens it and Derek greets Spencer.
"Hey, there's my man" he smiles as he picks Spencer up.
"Who we got on today? Mickey?" He looks at Spencer's jumper.
"Uh huh, tome on, tome pway" he points to the living room once they got inside.
"Alright, alright" he chuckles as he follows Spencer's lead. Soon the girls showed up and Spencer wanted everyone to play with him.
