"So how was practice with dad?" Olivia asked Jordan as he was trying to text on his flip phone Sevyn couldn't help but laugh at him.
"I know you're laughing at my phone Jhene and it's Great. You know, just calling more audibles, being more vocal, you know, basic stuff."
"Emotionally shaking Dad down?"
"Admit it. You are preying on his guilt, using your powers for evil." Sevyn added while placing the cookie sheet in the oven. Spencer had told the two how Jordan was pushing Billy's limits and questioning his authority.
Looking up at the two with a confused look he asked, "What?"
"You're an asshole Jordan," Sevyn told him just as Laura walked into the kitchen.
"Hey, Liv, I have something I think would be really good for you. In fact, it has you written all over it." Laura said as she placed the iPad in front of Olivia.
"Sola Muse"?"
"Yeah, they help you develop your leadership skills and they do philanthropic work in the community, and it would look really good on your college applications."
"OK," Oliva said unenthusiastically.
"And the best part is there is a cotillion at the end of the year to celebrate your efforts."
Jordan started chuckling before saying, "Wait, wait, wait. Oh, wait. Olivia at a cotillion? You mean, like debutantes and gowns and the little white gloves? Oh, man! This is gonna be too good, Liv."
"Yeah, I don't... I don't know, Mom. I'm still not seeing the part that has me written all over it." Olivia told her Sevyn could have told Laura that this wasn't Liv's thing.
"Come on. Community outreach, a strong desire to help others in need? That is so you. Come on, honey, just give it a shot, and if you don't like it, you can at least say you tried."
"You should do it Livvy I'm going," Sevyn said causing Olivia to look at her.
"What?"
"See Livvy you'll have someone you know doing it with you," Laura said excitedly.
"Yeah, Grandma Mary was debutant Liv just think about it," Sevyn added.
