It was a beautiful day, perfect for a family reunion.

It’s been a week since Junghyun and Taeri got married, and everyone was enjoying the family reunion.

Taehyung was happy to see his sister after a couple of days, but there was one thing that was bothering him.

Jungkook was there, and Taehyung couldn’t stand him.

Taehyung: (to Jimin) I don’t understand why my sister had to marry into the Jeon’s family. Look at him. He’s so arrogant and rude.

They were both gossiping about the devil himself, Jeon Jungkook.

Jimin: Yeah, I’ve noticed that, too. But why do you dislike him so much?

Taehyung: (sighs) It all started when I accidentally spilled a soft drink on him a few months ago. I apologized, but he refused to accept it and just walked away, spitting nonsense.

Jimin: That’s pretty rude. But maybe he was just having a bad day?

Taehyung: (sarcastically) Oh yeah, because being cold and arrogant is justified when you’re having a bad day.

As Taehyung walked around the hallway, he couldn’t help but notice that Jungkook was always nearby.

He felt uneasy, not knowing what to do or say in his presence.

But before he could think more, Jungkook approached him.

Jungkook: (sarcastic tone) Well, well, well, if it isn’t my favorite soft drink spiller.

Taehyung: (frustrated) Look, I already apologized for that. Can you just let it go?

Jungkook: (smirks) Why should I? It’s not every day I have someone spill a drink on me.

Taehyung: (irritated) You’re impossible to talk to. I just wish I didn’t have to see you again after this.

Jungkook: (raises eyebrow) Is that so? Well, let’s hope we never cross paths again.

As the night went on, Taehyung continued to avoid Jungkook as much as possible.

But when it was time to leave, he couldn’t help but feel relieved that he wouldn’t have to deal with him again.

Or so he thought.

A few weeks later, Taehyung was at a coffee shop when he saw Jungkook sitting at a table with his brother.

Taehyung: (to himself) Great, just what I needed.

He tried not to make eye contact as he ordered his drink, but Jungkook walked over to him.

Jungkook: (smiling sweetly) Taehyung, what a surprise seeing you here.

Taehyung: (surprised) Uh, hi. What are you doing here?

Jungkook: (smirks) You tell me, Taehyung,  why am I at café shop other than getting a coffee?

Taehyung: (awkwardly) Whatever. I’m going to go sit over there. Bye.

But the devil invited his brother over, and they sat with Taehyung, who smiled with his lips pressed in a tight line.

As Taehyung sat down at a table, he couldn’t help but feel annoyed that Jungkook was intruding on his space.

But then he noticed Jungkook’s brother got up to leave, and Jungkook was busy doing something on his phone.

Taehyung: (to Jungkook) Your brother left his phone on the table.

Great, why would I say that, can’t keep your mouth shut for once, Taehyung scolds himself.

Jungkook: (smiling) Oh, he always forgets something. I’ll take it to him later.

Taehyung: (nodding) Okay.

As Taehyung finished his coffee and gathered his things, he noticed a group of guys sitting near him.

They were laughing and joking around until one of them accidentally knocked over a tray of drinks when he was passing.

Taehyung: (concerned) Oh no, are you okay?

Guy: (fuming) Can’t you watch where you’re going, idiot?

Taehyung: (apologetic) I’m sorry. Let me help clean this up.

As Taehyung and the guy tried to clean up the mess, Jungkook walked over.

Jungkook: (condescending) Taehyung, what are you doing? You’re going to get your hands dirty.

Taehyung: (annoyed) I’m just trying to help. Can’t you see that?

Jungkook: (smirks) Sorry, I forgot how soft you are.

Taehyung: (angry) You know what, I’m done. I can’t deal with your arrogance and rudeness anymore.

Jungkook: (shrugs) Suit yourself.

As Taehyung stormed out of the coffee shop, he couldn’t help but feel angry at the devil Jeon Jungkook.
