Addison's POV
I'm currently breastfeeding Genevieve, who has gone nonverbal and has become more clingy. We're currently laying on my bed with Doc laying by Genevieve's feet. Genevieve talked to the police officers earlier today and those three men are now in prison. Not only for sexually assaulting my daughter, but also for having child pornography on their hard drives. Meredith entered our bedroom and laid on the left side of the bed.
"Alex punched Derek for threatening Genevieve. He also punched those three men for hurting our baby." Meredith tells me while playing with Genevieve's hair.
"Someone had to do it and I'm glad it was Karev. I may not like how he talks to women, but he's never talked that way about Genevieve and protects her."
"Yeah. Izzie said Genevieve deserved what happened to her. I slapped her good and if she says a comment like that again, I'll do worse." Meredith says before kissing me and I kiss her back.
"Genevieve has gone nonverbal and is clingy. So for a little while she'll be with me during my rounds. If I'm in surgery, Callie offered to look after her. I would have asked you but you're already working a lot and didn't want you to be distracted."
"I get it. I'll call Lexie and ask her to look after Genevieve if you two aren't available. She's coming over for the holidays and I invited her over. I also invited Thatcher, his wife and Molly, my other sister." Meredith explained to me.
"I invited my father and my brother Archer. My mother is spending the holidays with her girlfriend and will come for Genevieve's nineteenth birthday in April." Looking down p at Genevieve, I see that she's fast asleep and I couldn't help but smile at her.
"She's so precious. That's my new nickname for her Addie." Meredith tells me and I couldn't help but smile.
"By all means, it's yours Mer."
