BILLS POV
I've been sitting at the hospital for a couple of hours because they wouldn't let me go back since she didn't remember who I was
I decided to get up and see if I was able to go back now
"Excuse me am I able to go see lexi now?" I asked "Oh yes your bill?" The lady asked "Yes" I replied "Right this way" She said getting up and leading me to her room
The lady left and I was just looking at her through the doorway scared to go in because I didn't wanna make a scene but she wasn't even awake
I walked in and shortly after a doctor walks into the room
"Hello nice to meet you" The doctor said shaking my hand and closing the door "Nice to meet you" I reply "Your her boyfriend?" He asked making me instantly reject the idea "No no" I gave him a soft smile "Use to be best friend" I added looking over at her "I'm sorry to hear" He said "So do you know what happened?" He asked "No not really she was out with my brother in another country and she came back with this guy and she didn't remember anything" I felt a lump in my throat "Your brother?" The doctor questioned "He will be here shortly" I commented "She might never get her memory back or it could take her a day to years to fully recover because we found something in her system that might need surgically removed but since she isn't stable she can't make her mind up herself" He said looking at me
I felt tears hit my cheek
"My brother and her were basically married so that has to count right" I asked "We would need legal documents if they were married but if their not he can't have a say so" The doctor gave me a remorse look "What about her cousin?" I quickly asked afterwards "You really care for her dont you" He asked
I quickly nodded trying not to choke up
"How olds the cousin" He asked "23" I reply looking at him then back over at her "Have her come in and fill some papers out and we will send her into surgery
He just nodded and gave me a sorry before leaving the room
It was just me and her sleeping body
I walked over to the side sitting in the chair
"Lexi I'm really gonna need you to pull through for tom" I whispered into tears now "He loves you so much and this is just devastating for all of us but him I don't know what'd he do, you need to do this for him" I added into my cries now
The door swung open making me jump then quickly run over to tom to embrace him into my arms He hugged me back tightly
"Lexi" He whispered looking behind me letting me go
He paced over to her cupping her face into his hands
"baby wake up" He whispered looking at her

She slowly opened her eyes looking up at tom
"Who are you" She whispered into a sleepy voice "It's me baby it's me" He choked up "I'm sorry I don't think we've ever met" She said making him move his hands away "We have met lexi you don't remember the house the quiet life?" His voice lowered into cracks now "No" She softly says shaking her head "Our son?" He questioned standing up now "I don't have kids" She responded sitting up
He looked over to me in tears now not knowing what to do
"You guys kinda look alike" She lets out after rubbing her eyes
I smiled softly
"We're twins" I say making her face light up "That's cool!" She smiled "Why's he so sad" She questioned looking at tom trying to hold it together as he walked out of the room but he couldn't he was breaking down and the tears were getting the best of him "He loves you a lot lexi" I whisper "I'm sorry I don't remember him" She says looking at tom in the hallway "Do you remember anything?" I asked "I think" She said making me rush over to her sitting by her "What?" I asked "Well I got a picture and it was somewhere pretty like the ocean and there was someone else there but I can't make it out it's a blank image" She said "It was hawaii lexi" I smiled and tom walked back in as he heard it "What she remembers hawaii?" He almost yells "Just the ocean I think" I whisper "Can you tell me more about it?" She asks softly looking inbetween us "I'll let tom tell you about it i wasn't there" I smiled "Oh who's tom?" She questioned
The question broke my brother you could see it in his eyes
"I'm tom" his voice cracked "Hi" She smiled at him "I think my name is lexi because that's what he's been calling me" she added
He just looked at her with such a hurt look
"that is your name" He softly said not taking his eyes away from hers "What was Hawaii like?" she questioned smiling at me "It was fun for the first day" He smiled but dropping it "Only for the first day?" She asked "Our son died lexi" Tom bluntly said looking down "That's why it was only a day" He added
I tried to hold back tears because tobias was such a little sunshine for everyone
"I'm sorry you seem like a really nice guy I just don't remember" She gave him a remorse look "Did the guys do this to you" Tom snapped getting up now "Tom don't" I tried to tell him but he cut me off "No before I blacked out i..i remember there was screaming and I couldn't move" I said "Wait what" Bill said
