He can tell when the day is going to be long as soon as it starts. Waking up too early always leaves Jeff with the feeling that he lacks hours of sleep in his day, no matter how well he slept.

After a busy morning with hair, makeup, outfits and lots of photos, he manages to have lunch when it's late, which makes the day seem further and further from the end. He doesn't even have time to sneak out and check his cell phone, because he's already back for more photos and an interview round at the end.

With the sky already dark outside, he asks the team to just remove his makeup before he leaves, and is already in the car when he finally sees some of the texts he received from Barcode throughout the day.

Barcode

Hey! Can I sleep at your house tonight?

Phi hasn't seen it yet, but I'm taking clothes to BOC, okay?

Phi must be exhausted, you can go straight home, ok?

Jeff smiles when he sees the messages and sighs at the last one, nodding as if the boy could see him on the other side of the screen. They haven't seen each other for a week, since his schedule is full of meetings with the label, with the studio and some appointments that he attended alone. Although they text each other all the time if possible, he's really dying to see him again.

Jeff

Exhausted, yes, but your company would be nice today.

He leaves with the car before even waiting for the answer, and it doesn't come while he's driving. Considering it was already a bit late and that he too might have been rehearsing all day, Jeff decides to let it go and drive straight home.

As expected, Jesse is in the living room when he arrives, tucked under a duvet, on his cell phone.

"Hia."

"Hey." Jeff answers in a low tone. "Everything okay around here?"

"Everything's good." Jesse smiles awkwardly at him.

"What is it?" Jeff asks half-laughing, and when he turns to leave his shoes at the entrance, he notices a pair of familiar sneakers there. "Barcode...?"

"In the studio." He winks, making Jeff roll his eyes. "We thought Hia would arrive earlier..."

"You weren't saying anything to him, were you?"

"Oi! What would I have to say, Hia?" Jesse is great at playing dumb.

"I don't know, you always have something to say." He mutters as he passes him, leaving a slap on his head. He goes to the studio, but not before turning to his brother again. "Thanks..." He scratches the back of his head, suddenly feeling embarrassed. "For welcoming him."

"Tsk." Jesse clicks his tongue, looking back at his phone. "Just be silent."

Jeff even opens his mouth to answer, but when he feels his own face heat up, he shakes his head and gives up, going all the way to the studio.

Jeff knocks lightly on the door even though it's his own studio and walks in slowly.

"Is this where an exhausted boyfriend is being requested?"

Barcode swivels in his chair to look at him and smiles. Jeff feels like his energy has been recharged. Barcode gets up and approaches immediately, and Jeff barely has time to close the door behind him to receive Barcode in a tight hug.

"I thought this day wasn't going to end." Jeff mutters against his shoulder, laughing lightly.

"But it's over and Phi's home." Barcode says and pulls away, holding Jeff's face and pecking his lips for a long time. "I'm sorry for being nosy and coming over?"
