LUDO MASTER

5 year old Peter Stark was in his room playing with his toys while his mommy, Pepper had gone for work and daddy, Tony had also gone for mission with the Avengers. Peter was being babysat by Happy and Rhodey, who were in the living room watching news on the TV.

"Pete, want to have french fries for lunch?" Rhodey asked as he came in.

"Can I have nuggets also?" Peter asked.

"Ok but only two." Rhodey left the room and Peter continued to play with his teddy bear and while flying his toy F-14 over his bedside table, he picked up a small photo of himself, his daddy and mommy in Disney land which was framed.

"Peter! Lunch time!" Rhodey said from the kitchen and Peter left the frame and ran towards his meal.

"Thanks Uncle Rhodey." Peter said as he sat in the stool near the counter where his french fries and nuggets were kept in a blue plate.

"Welcome Pete. Eat this and then you're napping." Rhodey said.

"Can I skip the nap?" Peter asked.

"Nope." Happy said who was sitting on the chair next to him.

"Your parents will be back by then and they would like to see you in bed." Rhodey added.

"Can we play Save The World or Pillow Fortress or Blanket Tents first?" Peter asked.

"We've already played that the whole morning." Happy said.

Peter finished his lunch and after having a chocolate ice cream, Rhodey put him to sleep. Happy left after getting a call from Pepper to pick her up while Rhodey stayed back to watch TV. Peter, however, wasn't sleeping for long as he woke up after some time and thought of going out for more ice cream without any of his uncles noticing.

"It's time for my own Mission Impossible." He said to himself as he quietly opened his room door and walked out.

Peter walked without making any sound and reached the staircase and was happy to see that Rhodey wasn't there to catch him red handed. Peter was walked into the kitchen, removed the ice cream and took a spoon and headed back to his room.

"Peter? What are you doing?" Peter turned around and saw his mommy standing behind him.

"Mommy's back!" Peter said happily as he gave Pepper a hug and dropped the ice cream by accident.

"You're secretly eating ice cream?" She asked her son after kissing him on the forehead.

"Yeah." He said.

Pepper carried him up and took him back to his room to sleep but Tony walked in.

"Daddy!" Peter said and Tony carried him from Pepper as she picked up the ice cream.

"Hey buds." Tony said as he kissed his cheek.

"Secret ice cream eater." Pepper said and joined them.

"You want ice cream?" Tony asked Peter.

"Yep." Peter replied hoping that he'll get permission to eat ice cream.

"Only little." Pepper said and she brought three bowls of ice cream for each of them.

"How did you sneak in the kitchen without us noticing?" Tony asked his son as they ate the ice cream.

"I had my own small Mission Impossible." Peter replied.

"Mission Impossible, huh?" Pepper said.

"You little spy." Tony said as he ruffled Peter's hair.

"I wanna be a super hero like you!" Peter said looking at Tony.

"Ofcourse." Tony said.

"You'll be the world's best superhero." Pepper added.

"But now you must go back for your nap." Tony said.

"Daddy please no nap." Peter said with puppy eyes.

"Why can't I ever resist you?" Tony said as he pulled Peter and Pepper for a bear hug.

"This little ball of happiness." Pepper brushed Peter's hair which came on his face.

"Daddy! Mommy! I love you'll!" Peter said.

"We love you more." Tony said.

"My sweetheart." Pepper added.

"Can we play Ludo?" Peter asked.

"Ok." His parents said together.

"I want blue!" Peter said.

"I'll take red." Tony said.

"Yellow for me." Pepper said and they went out, assembled the board and began to play and as always Peter's luck was horrible. The kid never got a six on the dice but his luck turned as he got three sixes back to back. Tony was in the lead with one of his pawns already in. Three of Peter's pawns were eaten by her husband and son but she didn't mind as two of her pawns were half way home.

"I won! Mommy! Daddy! I won!" Peter screamed in happiness as he won for the first time in forever.

"Wow!" Pepper said.

"My boy's a champ!" Tony added.

"Now who's second?" Peter asked.

"Me!" Tony and Pepper said as they continued to play.
