Welcome to my world, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week looking at the same 4 stone walls.
Abandoned by my parents and declared insane at just 12 years old I have called Stoney Hall my home for the past 6 years.
Today is my birthday and I am finally 18, I petitioned the courts last year to release me but while they said I could leave I had to wait until today, my parents didn't want me back and they didn't want to put me into the system. After-all who wants to foster a 17 year old straight out the psych ward?I haven't seen the veiled in 6 years, but I know that they are real and when I walk out of the iron gate that has imprisoned me since I was 12 I have to try and return to normal society.
Normal? What is normal when you can see a whole world nobody else can see, and when nobody believes in what you can see how do you explain your actions without being sent straight back to your 4 stone walls?
