Jungwon felt his heart pounding as he sat next to Y/n on the crowded bus. He had always been a shy and introverted boy, and being in close proximity to someone as confident and outspoken as Y/n made him feel even more nervous.

Y/n, on the other hand, had a reputation for being one of the meanest girls in school. She was known for her sharp tongue and cutting remarks, and Jungwon had always been one of her favorite targets.

As they rode the bus, Y/n couldn't resist the urge to tease Jungwon. She made fun of his clothes, his hair, and his quiet demeanor, and with each insult, Jungwon felt his confidence crumble.

Finally, he couldn't take it anymore. Tears started to well up in his eyes, and he turned away from Y/n, trying to hide his emotions.

But to his surprise, Y/n reached out and put her hand on his shoulder. "Hey," she said softly, "are you okay?"

Jungwon looked up at her, surprised by her sudden change in tone. He couldn't believe that the girl who had been so mean to him just moments before was now showing him kindness.

Y/n saw the tears in his eyes and knew that she had gone too far. Without a second thought, she put Jungwon's head on her shoulder and started rubbing his head in a comforting gesture.

The other students on the bus were shocked by what they were seeing. They had never seen Y/n act this way before, and it was clear that Jungwon was just as surprised.

As Y/n held him close, she whispered into his ear, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you like that."

Jungwon couldn't believe what was happening. The girl who had always been so mean to him was now showing him compassion and understanding.

As they rode the bus in silence, Jungwon realized that maybe, just maybe, Y/n wasn't as bad as he had thought. Maybe there was more to her than just her sharp tongue and cutting remarks.

And with that realization, Jungwon felt a glimmer of hope that maybe, just maybe, they could be friends.

Jungwon sat nervously next to Y/n on the bus, trying to keep his distance from her. He was always too shy to say anything to her, but somehow found himself sitting next to her today. As they rode along, Y/n couldn't help but tease Jungwon, saying mean things to him and making fun of him for being so quiet.

Jungwon tried his best to ignore her, but he couldn't help but feel hurt by her words. He kept his head down, feeling embarrassed and ashamed. But then, unexpectedly, Y/n reached out and rubbed his head, a gesture that took Jungwon completely off guard.

He looked up at her in surprise, unsure of what to say. Y/n simply smiled at him, her eyes softening as she spoke. "You're not so bad, you know? I like having you around."

Jungwon couldn't believe what he was hearing. Y/n, the mean girl who always teased him was being kind to him? He felt a lump form in his throat, and he had to blink back tears. He leaned his head back onto Y/n's shoulder, grateful for the comfort she was offering.

Just then, Sunghoon, Jungwon's friend, looked over at them, and his eyes widened in shock. He had never seen Y/n be kind to anyone, let alone Jungwon. He couldn't believe what he was seeing, and he stared at them in disbelief.

Jungwon didn't care about Sunghoon's reaction, though. He was just grateful for the small moment of kindness that Y/n had shown him. It was a rare moment of vulnerability and understanding between two people who were very different from each other.

As the bus slowed to a stop at Jungwon's neighborhood, he gathered his backpack and nervously made his way to the front of the bus. Y/n, the girl known for her sharp tongue and cruel behavior towards Jungwon, also stood up from her seat and exited the bus.

Sunghoon, Jungwon's best friend, followed closely behind them, determined to keep an eye on Y/n and protect his friend from any harm.

But to Sunghoon's surprise, Y/n didn't approach Jungwon with any malice. Instead, she walked over to him and wrapped her arms around his small frame, giving him a warm and unexpected hug.

Jungwon's eyes widened in shock as he processed what was happening. He had never received any sort of kindness from Y/n before, let alone a hug.

Sunghoon watched the scene unfold with a mix of confusion and relief. He had been prepared to intervene if Y/n tried to hurt Jungwon, but seeing her show him affection was a welcome surprise.

After a few moments, Y/n released Jungwon from her embrace and began walking him home, chatting animatedly about her day at school. Sunghoon trailed behind them, watching with a newfound respect for Y/n.

Maybe she wasn't as mean as he had thought. Maybe there was more to her than met the eye.

As they reached Jungwon's house, Y/n bid him a friendly farewell and turned to walk back towards her own home. Sunghoon watched her go, his mind whirring with thoughts of what had just transpired.

Maybe there was hope for Y/n after all. Maybe she could change her ways and become someone worth knowing.

Only time would tell, but for now, Sunghoon felt content knowing that his friend had made it home safely and had even received a bit of unexpected kindness from the most unlikely source.

{Time skip, the next day}

As Jungwon was on his way to the bus stop, he saw Y/n and Sunghoon standing in front of his house. Y/n was the mean girl in his class, someone who had always made fun of him and bullied him. Sunghoon, on the other hand, was one of his few friends, someone who had always been kind to him.

Jungwon felt a mix of confusion and fear. He didn't know what to do, whether to go up to them or to just walk past them and pretend he hadn't seen them. But before he could make a decision, Y/n turned to him and called out his name.

"Jungwon, come here," she said, beckoning him over.

Jungwon hesitated for a moment but then reluctantly made his way over to them. Sunghoon greeted him warmly, but Y/n just stared at him with a sneer on her face.

"What do you want?" Jungwon asked nervously.

Y/n rolled her eyes. "I just wanted to talk to you," she said, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "Is that so hard to believe?"

Jungwon felt his heart sink. He knew that Y/n wasn't someone he wanted to be around, but he also didn't want to offend her and make things worse for himself.

"I-I don't know what you want to talk about," he stammered.

Y/n let out a frustrated sigh. "Look, I know I've been mean to you in the past," she said, "but I want to make things right. I want to be friends with you."

Jungwon couldn't believe what he was hearing. Y/n, the mean girl who had made his life miserable, wanted to be friends with him?

He looked over at Sunghoon, who gave him a reassuring nod. Jungwon took a deep breath and decided to give Y/n a chance.

"O-okay," he said hesitantly. "We can be friends."

Y/n smiled, and Jungwon felt a strange sense of relief wash over him. Maybe things were finally starting to look up for him.
