How far would you go for someone? How many hailstorms and dark clouds would you endure? How many falling stars would you wait for to make a single wish come true?
For me, Reese Deborah Madrid, the sky was the limit.
I was used to having whatever I wanted. Clothes? Shoes? Jewelries? Name it. I could get it without putting in so much effort.
So, when I wanted another shot of love with my ex-boyfriend, I was ready to sacrifice everything to win him back.
Even if that meant I had to look stupid and desperate. Even that meant I had to suffer through the pain of watching him be disgusted by me. Even if that meant I had to deal with his harsh words and apathy.
I did everything in my power to go back into his arms. I stood up to the rain that soaked me and the sun that burned my skin. I waited from daybreak to nightfall, hoping that he would eventually fall back in love with me.
I thought I was getting there.
I felt like I'd made it.
But then, in the world where I could be anything, I lost everything in the name of my love for him.
