16: The Date

The ride to wherever Ryder was taking me was silent but not uncomfortable though. It was peaceful
He didn't pester me and I didn't pester him.
I stole a look at my mate. He was dressed in a dark blue suit that flexed a little too much of his muscles. He wore a red neck tie and his hair was combed back. They looked extremely soft.
He was well cleaned up. He seemed to notice me checking him out because he stiffened. A small blush crept on my face when he winked at me through the rearview mirror and said"Like what you see, babe?"

I relaxed and replied"If I like trash,then maybe." A look of total satisfaction crossed my face while his was filled with disbelief. Before I knew it, he smirked and said, " well apparently you do. " I was just about to put in my own two cents when the car halted. I grimaced. I can't believe he got the last word on this one. Ryder got out of the car and opened the door for me. I felt like a princess. I smiled up at him as he led me to the fancy restaurant. He walked up to a waiter and asked for a reservation under the name
'Ryder Smith' we were ushered to the rooftop but on the elevator, Ryder clasped a blind fold I didn't notice before on my eyes just as the elevator door opened. I heard Ryder whisper something to the waiter before he left us. Ryder led me into the room and since I couldn't see, I had to rely on my nose. The scent of shrimps filled my nostrils. I could also sense waffles and.....water?

Just then, Ryder took off the blind fold and, well, I gasped.
A beautiful fountain stood in the middle of the rooftop that was decorated in red and white balloons. Classical music played from somewhere. I stepped further into the rolm. A table for two sat in a corner. Opposite the table was a white sofa.

I turned back to Ryder astonished.
"You...you did all this ....for...me?" My mate didn't reply. Instead he came up to me and held my waist.
"Dance with me." He said and I nodded. My hands made it's way to my broad shoulders. I rested my head on his chest and we swayed to the music.

"Alexandra, I may have not known you for a long time but one thing is sure, I'm falling head over heels for you." His voice undertook a soft tone.
"I love your smile, your laughter, your beauty, your scent. I love everything about you. Call it the mate bond but i know it is more than that." His words melted my heart. No one has ever spoken such sincere words to me. I raised my head but he leaned down instead and kissed my neck. I moaned softly. His lips travelled upwards and eventually reached my lips. The kiss started slow and gentle but slowly became passionate.

I felt everything. It was like he poured all his love for me into that kiss. He slowly pulled away for breath. Ryder put his head on my neck and breathed in my scent.
"You are so beautiful." He mattered against my neck. His hot breath sent shivers up my spine.
"I'm hungry." I said ruining the moment. My mate raised his head and chuckled.
"Let's get on with it then."

With his arm still around my waist, we walked towards the table for two. Ryder pulled the chair out for me and we botg sat down to eat. He clapped his hands and two waiters came in carrying trays of food. The dropped the plates of food and left.

Lasagna and keok sisters were the main meal. We wasted no time and dug in while engaging in conversations here and there.

"𝐼 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢, Alexandra." I paused.
"What?" I asked just to hear it again.
"𝐼 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢." He repeated. I stood up and went over to him. I sat on his lap facing him. I ended up straddling him. I then kissed him senseless.

That useless girl. She can't do anything right. But soon, I will dispose of her. Once I get Alexandra, all the Alpha's will bow to me especially that motherfucker Brian. He will pay for every tear and bloodshed he has caused us.
"Darling." Ashley's irritating voice rang in my ear. I fake smiled and turned around. I saw Ashley standing there wearing a short skimpy revealing dress. My eyes practically bulged at the sight of her cleavages. Mabe she is not too useless after all. She took small seductive steps towards me and when she reached me, she pressed her body unto mine. On instinct, I held her waist and pulled.her closer. My hands travelled up her hourglass figure and stopped at her breasts. My hands fondled with them and Ashley let out a moan.
"Another round,Ashley?" I asked her. She slowly rubbed my chest.
"Of course, Darling. I can never get tired of you. That's why we are mates." I ignored her last statement and wrapped.her.legs around my torso.
I carried.her.to the bed and laid her on it.
