"I'm still kinda worried about your hide away thing. Are you sure just sunglasses is a good idea?" I said to Zane.
"I'll be fine. Maybe tomorrow, I'll go find a wig. Maybe a blonde wig." he says.
"Ew, blonde is not the right hair color for you." I said.
"That's the point." he says, chuckling.
When we finally got in front of Zelo's and Zane parks in front of the entrance, I got out of his car.
"Thanks for the ride, Zane." I said.
"No prob. So, how are you getting home?" he asks, "I don't think I can take you home 'cause who knows when my mom's coming home."
"I'll figure it out." I replied.
"Okay." he says and turns the engine back on again, "Well, have fun."
He drives off and I look around for Spencer.
"BOO!"
I screamed and literally jumped five feet. I looked around and saw Spencer, laughing at me.
"Spencer! I hate you!" I said and couldn't help but to laugh.
"I know you love me." he says.
"So, is there something you wanted to show me?" I asked.
"Oh right." he says and takes my hand, "I'll show you."
He leads me to his car and opens the passenger door, "It's a short drive."
I looked at him and then got in the car.
He gets in the driver's seat and turns on the engine, "Ready?"
"Yup." I said.
We drove out of Zelo's and out on the roads.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked.
"It's a surprise." he replies with a smirk.
I looked out the window and stared at the clouds above. I glanced at Spencer every so often, can't stop thinking about where he's taking me.
"We're here." he says.
He pulls up on a grassy field and opens his door.
He gets out and then opens mine.
"Thank you." I said, smiling.
I looked around and asked, "Wait, where are we?"
"I'll tell you when we get there." he says.
"So, we're not there yet?" I asked.
"Yup." he replies.
He takes my hand and starts running into the woods.
"Wait, what?" I said as the branches of the bushes scraped against my ankle.
After a couple more scratches on my ankles, Spencer takes me in front of a waterfall. Not a huge one like Niagra but not a small one like a little stream. It was actually "medium sized". Maybe the size of five rottweilers, on top of eachother? Eh, close enough.
The waterfall was falling down into a pond, making loud splashing sounds.
"Wow, this is cool." I said, smiling.
"Thanks. I just found it three days ago." he says. He walks over to a big, flat rock and sits down, "C'mere."
I sat down next to him and stared at the waterfall.
"So, how's life?" he asks.
I couldn't help but to giggle at his random question.
"What?" he says, laughing with me.
"Okay, my life's fine. Yours?" I said.
"Same." he says, "Do you like hanging out with me?"
"Of course I do." I said, smiling at him.
"Really?" he asks.
"Yeah. I mean, you're sweet, kind, honest, funny." I said.
"Then, can I ask you something?" he says.
"Sure." I said.
"Do you want to go out with me?" he asks.
I looked at him, not sure if I should smile or show no emotion.
"I..um..." I started, thinking.
"Sorry, if it's so sudden. You don't have to answer right away." he says.
I continued staring at him but not at his looks, about something else.
Believe it or not, I was thinking about Landon.
