"AAA-OUCH!" Florence keeps on turning in the hospital bed and her mom doesn't know what to do to help her.

"What did you ate this time? I already told you not to eat everything because your stomach might get upset." Her mother lectured her.

"Hopia, mom," she answered and felt her stomach ached again. (It's a type of bread with flavored fillings.)

That's the only food she ate when she was hungry. She didn't saw that it was already expired. She's the type of person that when she is hungry, she will ate anything with gusto.

She's not that glutton, but sometimes she ate a lot. She didn't care if it's still hot or it's already cold, or even if there were ants on it. So, most of the time, she ended up in the hospital. Just like this time.

She didn't know if she will sit or stand, lie on the side of her stomach or sit upside down, for her to at least get rid of the ache.

"Doc, am I going to die?" She grimaced while asking her doctor, Dr. Saavedra.

He just smiled at her. "It's too far from the heart, hija. Don't worry; anytime soon the medicine you took will be effective." The doctor took her pulse rate. "But for the mean time, I suggest you to stay here in the hospital for a day or two. You've acquired this stomach infection and we wanted to make sure that you'll be totally fine."

Warning bells rang in her head. That only means that she will get injection every day.

"Ah, no. I'm fine and---." She stopped on her reasoning when she felt the ache again on her stomach when she tried to get up. So, she lied back down again. "Ouch!"

Starting for that day, she swore to all the saints that she will never ate nor taste any kind of Hopia.

"We will inject dextrose on you, hija. For it to supply nutrients on your body that was lost." Dr. Saavedra said again.

She saw the two nurses came in her room. She saw them as an enemy holding a big syringe that will end up her life. She was about to freak out when an angelic face caught her attention. Just a snap, everything seems heavenly.

"Dad, can we talk after this?" The angel asked Dr. Saavedra. His voice was even angelic, which Florence thought it's a lullaby in her ears.

She gawks at him contently. He was tall, maybe six feet or so. He had this thick brownish hair, and thick brows. He had deep, piercing eyes, aristocratic nose and very sensual lips. She was like looking in one of the Greek gods.

Mi fafa guapito! She screamed in her thoughts. Now she's creating her own language.

"Wait for me in my office, Donn. I'll be there in a minute." Dr. Saavedra answered him.

Her thoughts objected when he was about to leave. He won't let him get out of her sight that fast! So, she did what she thought she can do stop him. She had gone wild. And even when the two nurses or her mom held her to make her stop, they can't make her.

"Donn, can you give us a hand?" Dr. Saavedra asked his son.

Yes! Her drama was effective.  'Come to me, my dear prince!'

She stopped and gazed at him when he finally came close to her. He's even more handsome than he thought he was. She thought she will have heart attack when he held her arm.

"Ouch!" She shouted.

Her eyes gone wide while looking at Dr. Saavedra. He inserted the scariest thing to her - a needle - in her hand. And with that everything went black.
