I heard a knock on my door. I checked my alarm clock that read, 10:36. Damn, I was really late. I shot up out of bed. But then I realized it was Saturday. This was our weekend. I didn't bother getting ready and opened the door. Larissa. "Yeah no. Not dealing with this today," I shut the door and went to get ready. "Y/N. Open the door," she said. "Let me at least get ready!" I called. "Jerk," I mumbled the last part under my breath. I got into my uniform and opened the door. "What do you want?" I asked annoyed. "I-I suppose I owe you an apology," she said, clearly annoyed. "For?" "For yesterday. God you're such a pain..." she said. "Great apology," I mocked. I didn't even really want to talk to her in the first place. "I'm sorry," she said half-heatedly. "Ok," I turned to shut the door. "Ok? What do you mean 'ok'?" She asked. "Ok... I don't accept," I tried to shut the door but she stopped it with her foot. "This is not how this is going to go. You can't just keep me begging forever. In fact, I won't beg. Y/N if you don't accept we're over!" She said. I smiled. Tears streamed down my face and I laughed. "We're over?" I asked. She was trying to stay angry but couldn't. Her face filled with concern when I kept laughing. "No-no. We were over- when you said I wasn't your girlfriend!" I shouted. She stood speechless. "So that is an empty threat! Unless we get back together- which good luck with that because I'm not becoming venerable with you EVER again- your threat doesn't mean shit!" I screamed. I slammed the door and leaned against it. "Of course. Of course of course of course! I ruin very good thing I have!" I heard her say to herself. "I was right. She's just like everybody else," I said referring to Larissa. But at this point, she was just there. I knew she was like that before the Rave'n. She wasn't going to be a forever thing. And yet I still couldn't help but fell a bit bad. Every morning for the next week she would try to talk to me and apologize, but after that she just gave up. It didn't help that I walked by her office every day too. Eventually Enid asked me to be her girlfriend. Of course I said yes. Maybe, maybe Enid was different. She was a lot more accepting and more energetic and happy. This was Nevermore. A school for freaks after all. We sat with each other every day and hung out. But... Larissa. She saw this and was not happy. "I couldn't help but notice you and Mrs. Sinclair have gotten quite close lately she told us. "Yes. Actually we're. We're together!" Enid smiled at her. There was fire in Larissa's eyes but she just kept smiling. Until she saw us holding hands. "May I speak to you in my office?" She asked us both. I ignored her but we walked there, holding hands the whole way. "You see, you two are holding hands and that could lead to more. Therefor I will have to make some rearrangements. You may only have class together. No lunch. That way you can be supervised," she said. "But-" "Enid. Leave. I'll handle this," I told her. Enid reluctantly left, leaving me and my ex together in a room. "So I found happiness and you can't stand it Hmm? Well it's a crappy thing of you to do you know? I mean, jealousy has clearly gotten the best of you," I complained. "And also you wouldn't do that. Would you Mrs. Weems. In fact, I took another memory potion. I don't know what happened between us, but I left myself a note saying we dated and got in a huge fight and now we're not together," I admitted truthfully. "You'd rather forget your problems than face them Hmm?" She asked. "Don't cut the classes," was all I said. I then walked out of the room with Enid. It didn't matter how many potions I drank. I still loved Mrs. Weems. For some odd reason.
