"Well this is nice." Ethan said, his tone overly genial as he inspected the shiny, silver band he held loosely in his hands.
From his position sat opposite his friend, JJ didn't look the most impressed, almost at a loss for words. One word in particular was actually all he could think about.
"It's designer!"
JJ could tell his friend wasn't too interested in the bracelet; he could tell by the tone of his voice and the look on his face. Ethan wasn't doing too well at convincing JJ that he liked this gift, JJ knew he should have just gone with what Harry suggested. Harry was closer to Ethan than JJ was, therefore he knew him better. Clearly Harry had a better understanding of what Ethan liked.
"Is it? Ah, cool, mate. Cheers!"
