The next morning......

Victoria had a good sleep in her mother's arm. She woke up hugging Irene but inalis niya yun agad. Bumangon ito, saktong pagtayo niya ay nakagising na din si Irene.

"How is your sleep?" she asked while stretching her arm.

"Good." she retorted at nagtungo sa banyo to do her morning routine.

"Success!" Irene whispered while smiling. Bumangon na siya at tinupi ang pinag higaan nila ni Victoria. Saktong paglabas ni Victoria ng banyo ay kakatapos lang magtupi ni Irene.

"By the way, Good morning anak" she greeted Victoria before entering inside the bathroom.

Victoria ignored her at nagpunta na sa vanity to do her skincare routine.

While she's putting her moisturizer she remembered what her ate Louis told her sa panaginip niya.

"Please, bantayan mo sila mommy at daddy"

VICTORIA'S POV

paulit ulit kong naaalala yang sinabi na yan sa akin ni ate sa panaginip ko. Sino yung tinutukoy ni ate?

I blink and continue what I'm doing. I suddenly remember what ate told me again before she died. Sabi niya sa akin na may tinago siyang mga regalo para sa amin nila mommy at nasa attick yon ng bahay. She told me to get those before Christmas. Kaya I'll sneak to our house when no one is there kasi sabi niya secret lang daw namin yon.

IRENE'S POV

After doing my morning routine ay lumabas na ako ng bathroom then I saw Victoria na nakatulala, mukhang malalim ang iniisip.

I went near to her and gently tap her shoulder. "You okay?" tanong ko sakanya. She just nodded to me without any reaction at nagpatuloy na sa ginagawa niya.

Ako naman ay nagpunta sa sofa to do my make up. Today, we are going to church then to the cemetery para madalaw si Louis.

Madami akong naaalala habang nagmemake up ako. Masasaya at malulungkot pero mas madami pa din ang mga masasayang ala ala namin kasama siya.

While putting my lipstick medyo nakaramdam ako ng hilo pero ilang minuto lang naman, I'm okay na.

Kinuha ko yung phone ko at tinawagan si Greggy para makapag bihis na.

On call ...

"Yes?" Greggy said.

"Get ready, hihintayin ka namin ni Victoria dito" I said to him.

"Okay, I'll start the engine" he said. He's ready na pala.

"Okay, babye. Love you" sabi ko but i whispered the word "love you" .

VICTORIA'S POV

While I'm putting my make up, mommy called daddy. After nilang mag usap I saw mommy blushing. Ano kayang sinabi ni dad sakanya?

She went back to the couch, she caught me staring at her, she just smiled at me. I ignored her at nagpatuloy na sa ginagawa ko.

After 10 minutes I'm done putting make up, i just put little bit of powder and lipgloss. Kinain ng oras yung pag aayos ko ng buhok, ang hirap ayusin eh.

After naming mag ayos ni mommy, we took our bag and went to the sala to wait for dad.

We sat on the couch, she's on the other side ganon din ako, magkalayo kami at hindi nag-uusap. She's playing candy crush while me nakatulala.
