I made up my mind. If I was going to live in this world for the rest of my life, I couldn't eat garbage tasting food every day for every meal! I was going to go into the kitchen before they prepared lunch and give them a lesson on flavor.

For now, I focused on trying to clear the plate in front of me. I choked down the flavorless meat and vegetables before excusing myself from the table and walking back to my room.

If I'm going to stay here, I need to really understand how everything works. Luckily I have my first lessons today, so I can drill the teacher for all of their history knowledge.

I walked back towards my room, trying to scratch my back where the dress was the itchiest.

Why would Corvalia ever choose these outfits? I guess the family has no taste in food or fashion.

I entered my room and immediately stormed to the closet. I opened it up and started pulling out all of the dresses that were too uncomfortable, tight, or just eyesores.

I noticed tons of boxes piled on top and inside the closet as well. Once I took all the clothes off of the hangers, I started taking out the boxes and opening them one by one.

More clothes!? I thought. How many outfits does this girl need!?

However, these dresses were very different. I lifted the first one out of the box, and to my surprise, it was just a plain white dress.

This must be some kind of nightgown. I thought.

The second dress was a solid lavender. The fabric was so soft and smooth, and the designs were super intricate.

Why didn't she wear any of these outfits? They're so much better!

As I looked through the rest of the boxes, I could tell that Corvalia must have thought they were too plain to be worn. Box after box of these dresses were stacked in the closet, but she only hung up the ones that looked the most extravagant.

There were more boxes in the closet, but I decided to leave them for now. I started folding the nice dresses and placing them back in the box, until I decided to just leave these hung up instead. The dresses that I took off the hangers were left in a pile on the floor.

I heard a knock on the door as I was putting up clothes.

I flinched in surprise, then said, "Come in!"

The maid from earlier came into the room and said, "Your lessons are abo-."

Her eyes widened in surprise as she saw the dresses on the floor. "What are you doing!?" she gasped.

"Just leave my room as it is. I'll finish organizing after my lessons," I told her. "Now where is the classroom?"
