Chapter 1

I couldn't believe it. I was reborn into a famous novel called The Blessed Lady, and the main villain family of the novel was the Voltaire family. The Voltaire family crest was a shield with a crescent moon and two spears sticking out in an X shape. Exactly the same symbol as the one I held in my hands!

This could only mean one thing. I had reincarnated as one of the characters in this family.

Even though I love this book, this is still a terrible fate!

The Voltaire family had seven children, five sons and two daughters. And they were all engaged in a vicious battle to see who would come out on top and become the head of the family. To do this, they needed to kill all of their siblings for their father, Claudius, to recognize them as the true heir.

How am I supposed to survive when all of my siblings are at each other's throats!? Including mine! I thought.

I heard footsteps getting closer to the door of my room so I shut the jewelry box I had opened and jumped back into my bed, trying to pretend like I was still asleep.

There was a knock on the door as it opened. I looked at who was there, and it appeared to be a maid.

"Miss Corvalia, it is time to wake up," she said to me.

So that's who I am, I thought to myself. The fourth oldest sibling out of the seven, Corvalia, a character who ended up dying at the hands of her second oldest brother later in the book.

That's not good at all! Why couldn't I have been reborn as the main character instead!?

Corvalia was used as a scapegoat by her older brothers. Rex, Lionel, and Issac, the three oldest brothers, all framed Corvalia as the main villain of the story, when in reality, it was them working behind the scenes to take down the male lead of the story, the crown prince.

That's not to say that Corvalia was a good person though, she grew up spoiled and bratty, and hated the female lead's guts to the point she tried to kill her many times.

Corvalia was killed after Lionel, the second brother, managed to take down Rex and Issac in a sword fight. He no longer has any need for her, so Lionel stabbed her with his sword.

I shuddered at the thought. Luckily, I still had time before any of the major story events happened.

"Miss?" the maid said again, bringing me out of my thoughts.

"I'm up," I said while climbing out of the bed, trying to look tired and disheveled.
