"Yup."

"You have your boarding pass, right?"

"Yup."

"Do you have water?"

"Nope."

"Good. They might take it away during check in. You have money, right?"

"Yup."

"And your girlfriend will meet you in the airport."

"Yup."

"What about-"

"Okay, what is this really about?"

She blinked, "What?"

Stanley just gave her a look.

"What are you so nervous about? Your hands are shaking."

"Today's Friday."She said softly, "And it's almost six thirty."

Stanley nodded, understanding, "You better hurry if you want to make it in time."

Maia sighed, "Do you think I'm making a mistake by going?"

"You tell me."

She glared at him, "Fat load of help you are."

He shrugged, "It's your choice. Since you've been giving our parents silent treatment this whole week, I suggest you do go. You might as well."

"I'm going to talk to them after I come back from the camping trip." She promised.

He nodded, "See ya, sis."

She smiled at her brother, "See you."

And then he was gone.

She sighed before turning around and walking out of the airport. Her brother had driven his car here, so she got in an drove it to Ruby's.

This was it, she was finally going to meet her birth parents.

The parents that gave her away.

Would she like them?

Were they nice?

Would they like her?

She looked at the diner.

There was only one way to find out.

So I'm taking a break from packing. Kidding, I was totally watching TV.

I JUST SAW THE OUAT SEASON FINALE. IT KILLED ME. BWAAAAAAA.
