Roseanne's POV

When I heard that voice come from the darkness, I let out a big sigh and lowered my bow, seeing the person emerge from the darkness of the forest and into the glow of the many torches with a bright smile. Their hair was slightly messy from the branches that they had been walking through and they even had a few leaves in their hair, making me smile more at them seeing how endearing they looked. The person walked closer to me and gently took the bow and arrow out of my hands, setting them aside as they looked into my eyes,

"What brings you out here tonight? You usually aren't out here on Tuesday nights, darling." They whispered to me as their hand reached up to brush a few stray hairs that rested on my forehead behind my ear. I melted feeling their warm skin against my face and sighed,

"Just Jungkook being himself." I explained as they looked at me sadly, wishing they could help me, but knowing they can't.

"I'm sorry, Rosie. You know I wish I could get you out of it." They said softly as I just leaned more into their touch; it always washed my worries away instantly. I brought my hand up and rested it on theirs, making them smile a little, making my heart skip a beat.

"I know, y/n. I wish I could also get out of it; for the both of us." I told her as she looked deep into my eyes, just staying silent as she searched my eyes. Her thumb rubbed across my cheek in a caressing manner,

"We both know that people would do unspeakable things to you if you broke it off with him. I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I let something happen to you." She said quietly with a frown, probably imagining unthinkable things happening to me.

"Trust me, I know. But just think, he barely pays attention to me anyway, and I have you." I said flirtatiously as that made y/n raise an eyebrow with a smirk,

"Is that right?" She asked as she quickly reached out to grab my waist with her free hand, making me yelp a little as she pulled me up against her body, catching me off guard. I felt my face heat up a bit as y/n looked at me intensely, making me get all shy. She chuckled and kissed my forehead, "well you have me, my queen." Y/n said with a flirtatious wink, making me roll my eyes playfully.

"Oh shut up," I breathed out as I leaned forward to rest my head on her chest, just wanting to be close to her. Her body radiated heat and I hummed in delight feeling her arms encasing my waist, holding me securely against her, as if protecting me, "why do you always have to call me that when things get like that?"

"When things get like what?" I could hear the smirk still on her lips as she questioned me. I knew she wanted me to specifically say, but I always get embarrassed talking about stuff like...that. Y/n knows that, so she just wants to get me like this.

"...like when things get more...tense."

"Hm, tense? I think I'd use a different word, my queen."

"Y/n!" I whined as she laughed, squeezing me as I just smiled against her chest, not caring that my embarrassment was the reason I got to hear her laugh.

"Oh you know I'm just messing with you, Rosie. I love seeing you get all flustered. How has my archer been doing though?" She asked me as I felt her pull away from the hug we still shared, making me a little sad. But I looked up at her when I saw she had picked up my bow and arrow for me. I took it from her,

"I've been doing good. Watch." I said confidently as I walked over to where I was standing before, aiming my shot at the target and taking a deep breath, feeling y/n's eyes on me the whole time, making me a little nervous. But I tried to ignore her and I let the arrow whistle through the quiet night air, sticking right into the target: a bullseye. I gave y/n a smug look as I turned to face her, seeing her casually leaned back on a tree with a proud smile on display.
