Falling. That was the one word I could use to describe going through the portal. Oh, and pain. There was a hell lot of that. My whole body felt like it was being pulled apart and stretched as far apart as possible, yet still flipping in the air. I hit the ground with a thud, and slowly lost consciousness. I looked up in a haze.

Percy was watching me, and I jumped up. "What...what happened?" I muttered, trying to think everything over. "Well, you blacked out a bit. But now you're okay!" Percy said, and I got a good look at the place. It was an infirmary.

"Hey, you're awake!" A blonde guy waltzed in and I scowled. "I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm fine! I want to leave now!" I snapped, and blondie laughed. "Alright, alright, it's okay just don't overexert yourself. You might still be a bit woozy from the portal jump." Blondie said, and I nodded, just wanting to get out.

"Hey, Will, can you show Aria around? I have to train a sword-fighting class." Percy said, and blondie, or Will, nodded. "Okay, it's not like I have any patients right now, and besides, you need an expert in case she blacks out again." Blondie joked, and I scoffed. "I am a perfectly stable person, who just so happened to black out a little bit ago." I mumbled, and Will shook his head. "Okay! You are a perfectly stable person!" He exclaimed, and I laughed.

Will showed me around, and we got along pretty well. "Will! Where are you?!" Someone yelled from the infirmary. "Oh, that's Nico. He's a son of Hades, so technically he's your cousin. He hides his sweet side beneath a deep dark layer of hatred." Will said, and I grinned.

"You like Nico!" I said in a sing-song voice, and Will scoffed, and then he turned his head to me. "That obvious?" He said, slightly depressed. "A bit. It's kind of like me and Finn. It's just Finn hides himself behind his charm, instead of anger." I said, and Will smiled. "You like Finnick!" He mocked me in the same sing-song voice I used. "Well, I know I do. Otherwise we wouldn't have kissed this morning." I stated, and Will's eyes widened.

"Will! There you are! I've been looking everywhere for you! Clarisse hit Malcolm with Maimer in his shoulder. It doesn't look too bad, but we need you, doctor man." Nico said after spotting Will. "Yeah...doctor man." I said smirking, and Will sent me a glare.

"Where's Malcolm at?" Will asked, and then Nico spotted me. "Who the Hades is she?" He asked Will, and I scoffed. "She can hear you, y'know. And her name's Aria. Daughter of Poseidon." I said, and Nico stood stiffly. "Well, um...you're Percy's sister?" Nico asked, and I nodded. "Well, duh. How many other godly Poseidon's do you know?" I said, and he grinned. "I like her." Nico declared before stealing Will.

"Well, damn, I'm all alone in a foreign universe..." I mumbled to myself. "You know talking to yourself in front of an infirmary is the first sign of madness." A voice said from behind. "Well, it's clearly not first since I've plenty of signs of me losing my mind way before this." I said, and spun on my heel and blinked.

"Holy- maybe I am going mad 'cause right now I'm seeing double. A double is shorter than the other." I said, stunned. "Well, maybe because we're identical twins." One of them said, and I blinked. "Anyways, I'm Travis and that's Conor." One of them said, and I nodded. "I'm Aria." I said, good-naturedly. "So, you want us to show you around because you seem like you are very lost." Travis stated and I nodded. "Sounds cool." I said, and then we left.

After about an hour later of just walking, Percy came back and dragged me to the shed with the weapons. Let's just say...I was in heaven. "Knives." I stated quite plainly. Percy handed me a knife and I scoffed. It was too heavy, clearly meant to slash the enemies.

"No way. I don't slash people or stab. I use throwing knives." I said, just a tad bit annoyed. "Throwing knives?" Percy asked, very confused. "Hardly anyone uses throwing knives here." That was news to me. Every person in four was always dying to use the throwing knives station in training. Hardly any were genuinely skilled with it, but I was one of those few. Percy grabbed five light weight throwing knives, and handed them to me. "Show me what you can do." I smirked, and walked out of the shed and to the archery range. A few Apollo kids were there, but there were plenty of unused targets. With five small jerking motions of my wrist, there five knives lodged into the bullseyes. "Boom." I said, and Percy's eyes were wide. "Boom." He repeated slowly.

I took two of the knives back home with me. Yay. I could threaten Austin with a weapon that won't kill him. Now, that's the highlight of my day.

"HE KISSED HER?!" Poseidon shouted at Aphrodite as she checked her makeup in her mirror. "Oh, yes. It was quite sweet. He didn't want her to leave after he realized how destroyed he'd be without her. She helped him with his nightmares, and finally realized how important she is!" Aphrodite squealed, and Poseidon scoffed.

"But that means he still kissed her! I haven't even met this boy! Or that other boy she's dating!" Poseidon yelled, and he planted his into his hands. Aphrodite grinned. She put so much work into this love story. "Well, that's all fake, darling. That boy is nowhere near in love with Aria. He's destined for no one sadly." Aphrodite said, touching up her lipstick. "Finnick is hiding how much he cares for Aria to protect her from Snow." Poseidon was confused. Protecting her from what?

"But still! He kissed her!" Poseidon exclaimed, and Aphrodite rolled her eyes. 'Boy, he's such a helicopter dad,' was Aphrodite's main thought, and then after a moment she responded. "I wanted to give them some happiness before it all gets ruined." She said, and then she flicked his forehead. "How do you know in the first place that they kissed?" She asked, prominently irked at his protectiveness. "I may or may not have bribed Hephaestus to break into the cameras in Finnick's house and watched the two of them." Poseidon said, nervously. Aphrodite smacked him over the head.

"You do not watch people's private relationships! That's what I do, so that's what you can't do! I know we're close friends because I was born from Ouranus's blood in the water, so I can keep you informed! You don't bloody need to hack into cameras to stalk your daughter and her lover!" Aphrodite scolded, and Poseidon scoffed. "You're not British, Dite." He said, and she turned her back to him. "I can be British if I want to be." She said, stomping upstairs.

"Aussie! You do not take one person's knives for fun!" I scolded the annoying baboon. "It wasn't for fun! Andria's paying me to get her the knives, and you've been at that station for like ever!" Austin snapped, sprinting from me. We were currently in training, and Austin currently wanted to give my knives away when I was still using them. "Well, I can take the knives and give them to Andria." I said, and then when he said no, I stormed off.

"Well, you look pissed." Kendra stated when I slopped over to her at the sword-fighting station. "I so am. Austin decided to rob me of my knives." I whined, and Kendra stared at me bewildered. "He took your knives...and you didn't kill him? Boy, you must be in love
with him for that to happen." Kendra said, and then stabbed the dummy in its heart. "Well, I didn't have my knives. My turn." I said, and then all of a sudden...the dummy had no head. I ran from Kendra and to Austin. I held the sword at Austin's throat. "Where are my knives?" I snapped at him, dragging the sword back ever so slightly to give him a cut. "I gave them to Andria!" He yelped, and then he was on the floor.

"ANDRIA!" I screamed, and the blonde girl was there in a second. "Huh...what's going on?" She asked, and then bam. My sword was pressed against her throat.

"Where are my knives?! And why did you pay Austin to give them to you when I was using them?!" I screeched at her, and she trembled. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry, it's just you were hogging the knives and I wanted a turn!" She blubbered, and I scoffed. "Oh come on! You suck with the knives! I'm much better than you with them!" I know I was being a bit egotistical, but I was telling the truth! Andria's terrible with the knives, and it was pointless for her to practice with them if she'd never master them in time before the chance she could be reaped. Basically, she would have absolutely no chance if she was in the games and she had just a knife. "Alright, if I'm so terrible, then let's have a competition. Whoever hits the most targets with the knives, can take them." Andria offered, like she could win. "Okay," I knew I was going to win so there was no way she would end up stealing my knives.

In the end, Andria hit five targets. Out of fifty. I hit every target directly on the bullseyes. I won the knives. After that, several others challenged me and I always won. After about ten competitions, I was declared the Champion. Everyone in training called me that. Everyone except Finn.

~~~A/N~~~
Short but vital. Bam. Also I've choosen to rename the book from 'Win for Me' to 'The Champion' for obvious reasons.
