If Yoongi were to be asked when the happiest time of his life was, he'd say the few days after the night of the dance.

The air was tense the following day when they met up for school, Neither Jimin nor Yoongi had the guts to even mention the kiss, or kisses they should say. Honestly, the day passed rather quickly for all they could think about was the night before.

During class, both of them caught their mind wandering back to the moment, reminiscing the feeling of each other's lips. With beet-red faces forming every time the memory resurfaced, shy smiles would reflect their emotions before they were covered up to prevent squeals from unintentionally leaving their lips. When their lunch break rolled around, Yoongi suggested finding a new secret place to eat, in the end, settling with their school theater.

No one went in there, especially during this time as it was known as the lamest room in school, and most people wouldn't be caught dead there.

Due to its poor condition, stage headlights, ripped curtains, dusty floors, and the myths of mice roaming whenever they wish to, no one ever willingly entered the theater. Students would rather hang out in the cafeteria, the football field, the stairs, or the financial arts hall but not the theater. Except, of course, for the Drama Club kids and students who had acting or technical theater as a class. Another benefit of choosing the theater as their hangout spot was that they shared the same lunch break as the teachers, so Yoongi and Jimin didn't have to worry about disrupting any classes.

To add on, in the back of the theater, right behind where they sat, stood the large, blue metal doors that lead back to the cafeteria, which meant they could easily enter and exit without getting caught.

Holding metal lunch trays of Bulgogi, radish kimchi, kimchi, one large bowl of bibimbap, and one smaller bowl of cold cucumber seaweed vinegar soup- the bowls made of the same material as the trays, Yoongi and Jimin sat near the back doors on the hard, uncomfortable surfaces of the chairs in the audience. With their trays balanced over their laps, the sounds of their chewing and savoring of food were the only form of noise in the large space. They didn't utter a word to each other, yet the tension was still definitely there since the morning. And it didn't go unnoticed between them. However, they were too shy to point it out, unaware they both had the same thoughts that made them blush crimson red around each other. So, throughout their lunch break, they were only brave enough to steal glances while the other wasn't looking.

It wasn't until school ended, after they had walked a few blocks to Yoongi's house and were settled in his room completing homework, that one of them decided to break the thick atmosphere.

Jimin called out his best friend's name, starting his first sentence with, "Last night..."

Yoongi began to overthink as soon the words left the other's lips.

Did he not like how he kissed him?

Or danced with him?

Shit, he tried his best at both last night and if Jimin calls him out on his clumsiness, he might just want the floor to swallow him up whole.

"I just want to say," Jimin continued, eyes glued to the floor, not willing to look at his friend as he confessed. "I wouldn't mind if you did it again. You know, kissing me, I wouldn't mind it," he admitted, his tone going softer after each word.

Oh, so he did do a good job.

Yoongi felt a smirk forming on his lips, pride overtaking him. Yet, replaying Jimin's words in his head converted his pride into bashfulness. He raised his head from his homework, his lazy gaze meeting Jimin's nervous one. "O-okay. Thank you for letting me know-"
