"You need to get Mia back into their apartment today" Dylan whispered on the phone as he slid out of Joy's office.

Marcus ruffled his morning hair as he walked into the kitchen, "And why do I need to do that?" He placed his phone on the counter and pressed the speaker. He began grabbing different ingredients out of the fridge to begin breakfast for Mia and him.

Dylan put his hand on his face and slid it downward, "I have a feeling the girls need to talk it out, before this gets uglier. I also just don't want to hear anymore complaining from her to be honest."

"Okay. After breakfast I'll drive her over." Marcus said, going to press the end call button.

"What time will that be over?" Dylan asked before Marcus hung up.

"I don't know!" he exclaimed, "I don't run on a schedule. When we're done, I'll text you."

Dylan nodded, "Sounds good"

Dylan walked back into Joy's office. The windows were dripping with moisture from the night before. Their hot breaths had fogged up the glass.

He walked right up the window in nothing but his pants from the night before, just looking at the view she had from her work space. It was a mediocre view, nothing compared to his. He kept thinking that she should have the best view, after herself. She would always be the most beautiful view to him.

As he stood at the window, he heard the sound of leather shifting. He spun to see Joy wrapped up in a throw blanket and his dress shirt, moving around in her sleep. After she had passed out after their long night of sex, he found a small blanket that she kept in her main space. He wrapped her in it and then slept beside her until the sun woke him up.

It was 6:45am, which is long past Dylan's usual. But seeing as his counterpart was still sound asleep, he figured the contents of his day could wait. Besides, they were never all that important anyway.

"Wake up," Marcus whispered as he softly climbed back into his bed.

Mia's eyelids fluttered but never opened, "What do you want?" then her nose scrunched up in an attempt to smell whatever he was holding.

"Just open your eyes and look." he smiled as he covered himself back in the blankets. She listened to his command and finally opened her eyes. A smile immediately took its place amongst her tired face.

"You really didn't have to," Mia said as she took a sip of orange juice, "Although coffee would have been a better choice for me, if I'm being honest."

Marcus smiled and brought his orange juice to his lips, "Pregnant women aren't supposed to drink caffeine"

"Wait. Where did you read that?" Mia grumbled, putting her drink down. She never heard that caffeine was bad; for all she knew her mother had coffee when she was pregnant with her, and she turned out fine!

He fed himself eggs, "What to Expect When You're Expecting"

"Crap. What if I had a redbull yesterday?" She said with a wince.

Marcus shared a look with Mia, a look filled with laughter. They both felt it coming, and erupted in giggles. Mia shrugged her shoulders in a 'there's no going back' type of way, and that caused Marcus' laughter to only intensify. They giggled in bed for another ten minutes before the subject changed.

"Once you're done and ready for the day, I think I'm going to drop you off at your apartment," Marcus suggested as he carried the tray out of the room. They had each finished all of their meals.

Mia groaned as loud as humanly possible, "I don't want to see Joy today. I'm not ready."

"I hate to break it to you, but you're being childish. The only way you're going to solve your problems is if you talk about them with her. Or else your friendship is going down the toilet."
