While running from the warehouse and into the streets, the only thing heard was the panting of everyone as they ran until Peh cut the thick silence, his words like a knife.
"Damnit, how'd the hell this happen!!" He yelled to nobody in particular
Suddenly the running behind Y/n slowly came to a stop. She looked behind her and saw Takemichi falling to the ground. Everyone hearing the thud also turned with a gasp
"Takemitchy!" Mikey shouted while Y/n ran towards Takemichi. She kneeled next to him, trying to shake him awake
It all was, of course, in vain though she didn't stop trying. "Wake up! Come on.."
The longer Takemichi stayed down, the more agitated everyone had gotten, which led to Draken and Mikey arguing with Peh budding in on certain points that Mikey presented
"We shouldn't have left him there!" The shorter blonde yelled through clenched teeth
"It was Pah's choice, not yours or anyone else's!" Draken screamed back
"That doesn't matter-" Mikey was cut off
"So Pah's wishes don't matter?"
"I didn't say that!" Mikey tried to argue back
Draken clenched his jaw. "Well, that's what I heard!"
The two continued bickering with each other, while Y/n was holding Takemichi's head, unsure of what she could do in this situation.
Everything from earlier bubbled up inside her until it turned into one emotional dam, one with many cracks and holes. No matter what she did to try and suppress it, the dam continued cracking until it broke. Until she broke
The tears started flowing faster than ever. Nobody even noticed the girl on the floor quietly sobbing to herself until she screamed "Just stop! Please.. stop.." Her normally beautiful face was scrunched, and her makeup was runny.
The two men turned towards her, with the anger quickly washing away once they both saw Y/n's tear-ridden face and sucked in lips.
Mikey's heart dropped, and Draken felt nothing but guilt
Y/n, from the moment they met her, presented herself as a strong and independent woman, but they never considered how she was feeling until today.
She hugged Takemichi's head as she sobbed further, trying to get a hold of herself. "T-Takemichi fainted, and all you could do is fight! What the fuck is wrong with you!?"
Her voice shook and broke every time she slightly raised it
"Y/n we never-" Mikey was the first to speak out of the three of them
"S-stop.." she sniffled, brushing what he was going to say under the carpet as Mikey's body went hot, he wasn't sure what he was feeling, but it definitely wasn't good
