At evening,
Anubhav reaches his home. One of the servants opens the door when he rings it. He enters and says to the servant while going to his room, "Ek cup chaai humare kaksha mein bejwa dijiyega." The servant nods and Anubhav goes to his room.
Anubhav gets freshened up. He is his vest. He opens his wardrobe to take a t-shirt when he hears a knock on the door. He thinks that the servant has come with the tea. He shouts without looking at the door, "Andar aa jaayiye."
He hears the voice of breaking something. He turns and sees the cup of tea has fallen on the floor and has broken. He is surprised to see Pushpa ji there. She looks too much scared. He understands that she is scared after seeing his injured shoulder.
She comes near him and holds his arms. Before she can speak anything, he says in a stern tone, "Aap yanha kya kar rahi hain? Humne toh Dhanu se kaha tha chaai lane ke liye. Sabke sab kaam chori kar rahe hain!"
"Tum baat ko mat badlo, Anu. Yeh... yeh chot kaisi lagi tumhe? Aur kya hua tha tumhare saath?" She asked a bit loudly yet in an emotional tone.
"Aisi bhi kaun si badi baat ho gayi jo aap jitna bhadak rahi hain?"
"Bhadke nahi toh kya kare hum? Tumhe itni chot aayi hain aur tumne hume batana bhi zaroori nahi samjha? Na jaane kya kya karte rehte ho din bhar? Ab chup kyun ho? Batao kaise yeh chot lagi tumhe?"
"Ab bata kar bhi kya hoga? Jo ho gaya so ho gaya. Hum chikitsalay gaye the. Chikitsak ne bhi kaha hain ki darne ki koi baat nahi hain. Aap chahe toh Neil se puchh lijiye. Aur haan..., Karishma ko iss baare mein kuch mat batana. Aur aap bhi bhul jaayiye iss baat ko" he says coldly.
He turns opposite and takes some steps. He wears a t-shirt while she blankly looks down with moist eyes.
"Bhul jaaye...?" she asks gloomily and adds, "Kaise bhul jaaye? Ek baat batao Anu..., tum kanhi koi galat kaam toh nahi karte naa?"
Anubhav's heartbeat stops beating. He turns and looks at Pushpa ji. She seems very hurt. Her eyes contain immense pain. He looks down and says in a tone of fake anger, "Aap aisa soch bhi kaise sakti hain?"
"Tumne hume aisa sochne par majboor kar diya hain, Anu" she yells at him and continues in a heavy tone, "5 saal ho gaye uss haadse ko. In 5 saalon mein kitna kuch badal gaya. Lekin sabse jyada kuch badala hain toh woh ho tum, aur tumhara vyavahar. Uss haadse ne tumhare saath saath hum sabko bhi thes pahunchi thi. Magar samay ke saath saath sab aage badh gaye siwaye tumhare! In 5 saalon mein tum hum sabse alag hi gaye ho. Na kisi ke saath thik se baat karte ho aur na hi kuch pal hum sabke saath bitate ho. Raat raat bhar ghar nahi aate, kuch puchhne par batate nahi, chhoti chhoti baaton par gussa ho jaate ho. Aisa lagta hain ki bahut kuch humse chhupakar rakha hain tumne."
Anubhav closes his eyes for a second. Pushpa ji comes near him and says, "Ab tum hi batao ki humare mann mein aise sawal kaise nahi aayenge? Kaise hum tum par shak na kare? Batao..."
"Aap kuch jyada hi soch rahi hain. Sachchai woh nahi hain jo aapka Mann keh raha hain" he says without any emotion.
"Toh tum hi bata do ki sachchai kya hain? Batao yeh chot kaisi lagi tumhe? Aur jhuth bolne ki koshish bhi mat karna. Tumhe humari kasam!"
He shockingly glares at her and shouts, "Har baat par kasam dena avashyak hota hain kya?"
"Toh tum koi bhi baat seedhi tarike se kyun nahi batate ho? Ab batao ki kaise hua yeh?"
