Escaping the curse

As Snow White went into labor, Regina was finally able to cast her curse. After learning about this, the Blue Fairy went to find Geppetto

"Circumstances have changed" she informed him as she entered the nursery room where he and Pinocchio were working on the wardrobe

"What do you mean, changed?" questioned Geppetto

"Snow is going to give birth early; the babies will be born at any moment" she informed him "Pinocchio can't go. Snow White must accompany her daughters or all will be lost. They must be protected. This is a land with no magic, they will need someone to guide them, make them believe in their destiny. Who better than their mother" she explained

"But we had a deal" said Geppetto

"There is no time to argue" replied the Blue Fairy "The curse is almost upon us and I must return to the fairies to make final preparations. It is vital that you tell Snow White what I just told you. Her children are our only hope. They are the only ones who can save us"

But Geppetto's only worry at the moment was the future of his child "And my boy? What will happen to him?"

"All we can do is have faith that one day the children will restore all that we have lost" was all the Blue Fairy said before she left

Despite both the Blue Fairy's words and Jiminy and Pinocchio's insistence on telling Snow White the truth, Geppetto sent Pinocchio through the wardrobe with the mission of looking out and protecting the babies in this new land and make sure that in 28 years the children believed

Meanwhile, in her bedroom, Snow was giving birth to her twin daughters

"AH!" screamed Snow in pain "I can't have the babies now!" They had heard the bell that indicated the curse was coming

"Doc, do something" David asked the dwarf. He turned to his wife and tried to reassure her "It's gonna be okay, the wardrobe is almost finished. Just, just hold on"

Snow kept screaming, trying to do as her husband had asked, but the pain was too much. Then Geppetto came in the room

"It's ready" he announced, and David went to grab Snow in his arms, but Doc stopped him

"It's too late" he said "We can't move her"

So Snow went into labour and had two beautiful baby girls. But as she and David were looking at them, Snow realized something "The wardrobe, it only takes two" she said to David. Fight noises could be heard in the distance

"Then our plan has failed" admitted the Prince sadly "at least we're together" he said as he hugged his wife and daughters

"No" said Snow after a moment "you have to take them, take the babies to the wardrobe"

"Are you out of your mind?" asked David

"No, it's the only way" she stated "you have to send them through"

"No, no, no, no, you don't know what you're saying" replied him

"No, I do" assured her "We have to believe that they'll come back for us. We have to give them their best chance" when she finished talking she kissed both her daughters' foreheads "Goodbye girls"

With one last kiss to his wife, David put the babies in a bassinet and went to the nursery room where the wardrobe awaited, leaving behind a crying Snow. In his was, he had to fight some of the Queen's soldiers, getting hurt on the shoulder, but he made it to his destination and placed the bassinet in the wardrobe. He kissed his daughters' foreheads just like Snow had done moments before. "Find us" was the last thing he said to them before closing the door. Just as he did that, more soldiers entered the room, but this time David couldn't fight back and got stabbed. But before he passed out, he was able to see that the bassinet was no longer inside the wardrobe

When Snow had calmed down and recovered from giving birth, she followed her husband's trail and went to the nursery as well, where she found David unconscious on the floor

"No, uhg, no, no" she pleaded, still in pain, as she fell next to her husband "Please, please come back to me" she whispered as she kissed him, hoping that a true loves kiss will bring him back, but it didn't. That's the scene Regina found when she entered the room herself "Oh, don't worry dear. In a few moments you won't remember you knew him, let alone loved him"

"Why did you do this?" asked Snow

"Because this is my happy ending" answered Regina. Her guards came in, and she asked them about the children

"Gone" one of them replied "They were in the wardrobe, and then they were gone. They're nowhere to be found"

Regina turned back to Snow then "Where are they?"

"They got away" she answered smiling. She looked up at Regina and said "You're going to lose. I know that now" she looked back down at David's face "Good will always win"

"We'll see about that" replied Regina as she laughed, just as the curse hit the room

"Where are we going?" wondered Snow

"Somewhere horrible, absolutely horrible" was Regina's response "A place where the only happy ending will be mine"

The fog surrounded them completely and the next thing everybody knew; they were waking up in a town called Storybrooke with no memory of who they really were.

The Queen was finally victorious
