I felt better knowing he could read and speak his language now. Even then he still wanted to explore the village asking for more. So I decided to take him to this big building I found that had more of those cow things he called books. I want to know why they made them. Couldn't they just pass down stories by talking?
"What's this?"
"I don't know but it has more of those book things."
"Cool." he smiled at me and I could see he was in child-like wonder.
When we got into the building he looked around. He said words like; kids, adults, fiction, non-fiction were lining the walls. He even told me which said what. Since he was still young and the word kids sounded young to me I told him to start reading there. At the moment he was reading something about the history of humans. It didn't seem like it should belong in a youngling section but I let him read it.
"So uh... Humans reproduce in small numbers. Like one or two. We evolved from wolves. And there have been many wars between our people." I looked at him confused.
"Why would you fight with each other except over territory." He shrugs saying he didn't understand a lot of it. And I sighed we needed to get him to a human to learn. Hopefully, they wouldn't kill him.
