Episode 9: Coming of the Zodiacs, part 1

Our episode opens up with a shot of the same massive triangle-shaped ship from the prologue hovering above a prison planet, this ship is known as the Nibiru. we then see a male Annunaki with blue dreadlocks and black-and-white robes named Eterius sitting in solitary confinement in a single cell at the center of the off-world prison playing with a pair of metal marbles in his hand with his psychokinesis. we then see a blue Minotaurosapien wearing a suit of armor, a trident-wielding Ichthyosapien, and a Carcinosapien break into the prison to take out the security robots guarding Eterius's cell one by one followed by the armored Minotaurosapien crashing through the wall of Eterius's cell. Eterius then says "took you long enough" while the Minotaurosapien says "we came for you as soon as we could, boss". we then see the four aliens make their escape, boarding the Nibiru which jumps into hyperspace before entering our solar system. meanwhile on the bridge the Zodiacs bow down to their leader, Eterius saying "Taurus, Cancer, Pisces... my children, the day of liberation has finally come. the day we free our alien brothers and sisters living on Earth from human subjugation by burning this planet to the ground". the three then shout "Yes, Lord Sagittarius!" while Eterius/Sagittarius smiles. After that, we cut to a helicopter landing at Sector 51 HQ where out steps an old man with a scar on his cheek accompanied by two bodyguards followed by Commander Epsilon and his men showing up to greet the man, Epsilon saying "Senator Pierce, what brings you here?" as he shakes his hand. Pierce tells Epsilon "I'm here to inspect your little secret alien hunters club, to see if they truly are humanity's best defense against dangerous extraterrestrials that they say they are". Commander Epsilon tells him "you won't be disappointed. just wait till you meet agent Delta and Lena, they're the real heroes of our organization" with Senator Pierce saying "so I've heard" in a very dry and un-enthusiastic tone. Epsilon escorts Pierce into the building, with Senator Pierce turning his head to see Sigma walking by, asking "Is that a rock person?" with Epsilon telling him "Sector 51 has enlisted some non-human agents into its ranks, they're accepting of all species" followed by the two bumping into Poochie the Kelvanian Quasar hound who bites Pierce's leg. Pierce freaks out, saying "get off me you filthy ET" and shakes the poor alien doggo off before telling Poochie "beat it" scaring him away. the two then see a Sector 51 airship return to the vehicle hangar, Epsilon saying "Well well well, looks like they've returned" followed by Agent Delta and Lena exiting the vehicle with a handcuffed alien criminal, saliva dripping from the creature's toothy mouth followed by Delta putting a muzzle on the beast before handing the criminal over to Epsilon, telling him "I trust you and your men to escort this guy to his cell" followed by Epsilon grabbing the alien criminal by the back saying "alright you off to jail" with the Sector 51 soldiers taking him off to be incarcerated. Lena turns her head to see Senator Pierce looking down on her angrily, Pierce saying "so you're Sector 51's secret weapon everyone keeps talking about, you're just some half-breed kid" Lena tells him "Call me that again and I'll punch you in the face". Delta stands in-between Lena and Pierce, saying "Senator Pierce! what brings you here?" followed by Pierce telling Delta "Commander Epsilon was giving me a tour of the facility, I heard the stories about you so-called defenders of humanity from some close-knit friends who knew of your existence so I decided to pay a visit to see what all the fuss was about" Lena growls at Pierce under her breath while Agent Delta tries to calm her down, saying "You may not like him, but He's our guest, so be nice okay?" Delta and Lena then show Senator Pierce around the alien prison, Pierce disgusted at the sight of the various incarcerated aliens (including cameos from Blobulus and Hammerfist), Delta explaining to the senator that this is where Sector 51 keeps all the intergalactic rogues they round up. Senator Pierce asks him "Why do you Sector 51 folks waste so much time and effort in keeping these ETs locked up when they're inevitably gonna escape and wreak havoc on our planet again? they're clearly too dangerous to be left alive, so why not just end them... permanently". Agent Delta tells him "We may be tasked with defending the planet from extraterrestrial violence, but we are neither judge, jury, nor executioner. their fates are for the council of planets to decide". Senator Pierce then tells Delta "The council of planets is a flawed system, they have failed to find a permanent solution to Earth's alien problem. In my experience, the only good ET is a dead one. but don't worry, I plan on running for president one day. and once I'm in office, I'm gonna deport all your little alien friends off earth and back to whatever planets they came from". Lena sheds a tear and then activates her fist constructs, shouting "YOU CAN'T DO THAT!" Delta then tells her "Lena calm down!" Senator Pierce senses something familiar about Lena's powers, asking her "Do you know how I got this scar? I got it from an ET with powers just like yours. his name was Eterius". Lena is shocked to hear that name again, asking him "Did you just say Eterius?" Pierce asks her if she knows him, and she tells him no, she just heard that name. Pierce tells Lena "Out of all the ETs I've met, Eterius is the worst one, a mad tyrant who hates humanity with a passion and will stop at nothing to see us all extinct. he's leader of a group of fanatics called the Zodiacs who all share the same worldview". Pierce then leaves the room, Lena asking him "where do you think you're going?" Pierce tells her "I refuse to spend another second in this place surrounded by filthy ETs. I'm out of here" followed by Senator Pierce and his bodyguards boarding the chopper and taking off while Lena, Delta, and Epsilon watch with Lena saying "good riddance" all the while Johnny watches the chopper take off from his motorcycle in the nearby desert. After that, we cut to Lena hanging out at Alex's house where Lena tells Alex about her encounter with Senator Pierce and how xenophobic he is, with Alex telling Lena "wow, that guy sounds like a jerk". Lena then tells him "Tell me about it, he said he wanted to deport all aliens off of Earth! what about the starchildren like me and Johnny? we're not accepted by human or alien society so where are we supposed to go if that happens?" Alex puts his hand on Lena's shoulder, telling her "Don't worry, I'm pretty sure Delta or Alpha or someone at Sector 51 is coming up with a plan to get you out of this mess as we speak". Lena tells Alex "That's not the only problem we have to deal with, I managed to get some info out of the senator about who this Eterius guy is. apparently he's the leader of some kind of anti-human space cult called the Zodiacs". Alex is intrigued, saying "so basically the opposite of the Friends of Earth. instead of a group of crazy humans who hate all aliens, we're now dealing with a group of crazy aliens who hate all humans" followed by Lena telling Alex "Exactly". after that, we cut to a transport pod being deployed by the Nibiru down to Earth landing in the spaceport of Alien Town, and out steps Eterius/Saggitarius along with Taurus, Cancer, and Pisces with Eterius leading the group as they march through the streets of Alien Town, with Eterius announcing to the public "My fellow extraterrestrial refugees, I am here to announce that I, Sagittarius leader of the Zodiacs, your savior has finally arrived!" the citizens of Alien Town all look at the quartet in confusion and start murmuring to each other. Joe watches the commotion from the window of his diner and thinks to himself "what the heck is this lunatic blabbering on about?" Sagittarius then starts preaching to the crowd of aliens saying "for the longest time Earth's population of interstellar immigrants have had to live in constant fear of their human oppressors, but fear no more my children, for humanity's day of reckoning has finally come! join the Zodiacs and together we start a revolution and purge the sickness known as the human species from this universe once and for all!" One alien raises his hand, asking him "excuse me sir, but I don't think all terrans are bad. sure there are bad eggs, but that's the case with every species. there are some good humans, such as Sector 51 who help protect good law-abiding humans and aliens like myself safe from bad aliens. it's not that black-and-white..." only for Eterius/Sagittarius to activate his sword to impale the poor alien through the chest. as the poor alien citizen's corpse falls to Eterius's feet as his green blood stains the Zodiac leader's sword construct, Joe's jaw dropping to the floor at what he just witnessed, followed by the crowd of horrified alien citizens taking a step back after seeing Eterius murder an innocent bystander in front of them. Eterius then says "If you're not for the cause, then you're the enemy. anyone care to join him?" however a platoon of Sector 51 armored cars arrive on the scene with Sector 51 soldiers pointing their guns at the Zodiacs while the civilians scatter and hide. Commander epsilon tells Eterius "So you're finally out of jail, I thought we saw the last of you 15 years ago". Eterius/Sagittarius tells Epsilon "you seriously expected my followers to just abandon me? oh they're far too loyal for that, so of course they were gonna come back for me eventually. you of all people should have known that" followed by Eterius using his psychokinesis to pulls the guns out of the soldiers hands and crush them with his mind leaving them defenseless. Eterius then smiles, telling his fellow Zodiacs "Kill them all" followed by Taurus lifting one of the armored trucks and tossing it at the soldiers causing an explosion that kills a good chunk of them while Commander Epsilon has a horrified look on his face. Agent Delta however arrives on the scene to stand in front of Epsilon whipping out his twin pistols. Pisces then shouts "DIE!" as she and Cancer both lunge at Agent Delta who blocks both Pisces's trident and Cancer's oversized claw with his guns before roundhouse-kicking the both of them followed by pelting the two with laser blasts from his twin pistols to protect Commander Epsilon. Taurus notices Cancer and Pisces both lying on the ground exhausted, saying "Get up you two! we must protect our leader at all costs!" only for Delta to fire a barrage of blasts from his twin laser pistols at Taurus who is barely affected as he charges at Delta and Epsilon at full-force knocking both of them down. Sagittarius tells his followers "Enough you three!" Cancer asks "But lord Sagittarius, why? we had them on the ropes..." Sagittarius then tells his followers "We're wasting our time here, Sector 51 are nothing more than a mere nuisance to us. We're going after the senator" followed by the Zodiacs returning to the Nibiru and fly off. Johnny notices the battered and bruised Delta and Epsilon before hopping on his motorcycle and riding off to find Lena all the while Sector 51 personnel arrive in Alien Town to give the injured survivors a trip back to HQ to recover. after that, we cut to Johnny on his motorcycle arriving at the Quinn household in Lincoln County before wrapping his scorpion tail around his waist and hopping off his bike before knocking on the door where he is greeted by Alex's dad Jack Quinn who asks the edgy-looking emo kid "so who are you? never seen you before" followed by Johnny saying "I'm a friend of Lena's. is she here?" Jack tells him yes, followed by Johnny entering the Quinn family household and barging into Alex's room, Lena shocked to see Johnny Deathstalker again, asking "Johnny? what are you doing here?" followed by asking Lena "Okay Lena, who's this guy?" Lena then tells Alex "This is Johnny, he's the starchild that I told you about. Johnny, this is my friend Alex" followed by Johnny uncurling his scorpion tail much to the shock of poor Alex who can't believe what he's seeing. Johnny tells Lena "I need you to come with me to Sector 51 HQ. Agent Delta's been hospitalized after a fight with the Zodiacs. it's real bad". Lena says "Oh my gosh... Is he gonna be okay?" Johnny tells her "That's the thing... I'm worried he might not make it and was thinking that he might want to see you to comfort him. it's the least I can do, he was my father figure too you know". Alex then tells Johnny "Then count me in too. wherever she goes, I go". Johnny tells Alex "very well then, pipsqueak. just be sure to wear your helmet and hold on tightly" followed by the three teens exiting the house to hop on Johnny's motorbike followed by the trio heading to Sector 51 HQ. the three teens then enter the infirmary to see Agent Delta, Commander Epsilon, and a whole bunch of Sector 51 troops lying in beds covered in bandages while they're being operated on by medical robots. Lena then holds onto Delta's hand and starts crying while both Johnny and Alex comfort her. Lena tells Delta "Johnny told me the whole story, he said you guys nearly died fighting those Zodiac guys that Senator Pierce was talking about". Delta tries to make light of the situation and tells Lena "Don't cry Lena, I'm not dead yet. no one can keep a good Sector 51 agent down". Lena gets up and tells Delta "I promise you that you will be avenged". Delta tells her "Stay out of this one Lena, the Zodiacs aren't like the aliens that you're used to fighting. they're much stronger, far too dangerous for an inexperienced teenager such as yourself to take on". Lena's head hangs low before going into her room to sulk. after that, we cut to Senator Pierce's house where he looks at a framed photo of his daughter, saying "Oh Jeri... If only I could have saved you from those insidious alien invaders" only for Pierce to see a bright blue light appear out of his window before he is suddenly beamed up into the Nibiru where he is held captive by the Zodiacs, Taurus restraining the angry politician followed by Eterius/Sagittarius entering the room accompanied by Cancer and Pisces. Senator Pierce tells the Zodiac leader "I will have your head for this Eterius! now let me go!" Eterius tells him "I don't think so. you are far too crucial to my plan for me to just let you go, especially one who was responsible for the subjugation of aliens living under ruthless human rule such as yourself. oh, and I go by Sagittarius now. Taurus, see this man to his cell". Taurus tells him "at once master" before leaving off carrying the captive senator with him. Pisces turns her head to Sagittarius, asking him "we got the senator, so what now boss?" Eterius then tells her "now we wait for our fifth member to rendezvous with us. once Scorpio returns with the necessary intel gathered from Sector 51, then we will commence our plan to make humanity bend to OUR will!".
