I'd look at her as she'd cook Mel breakfast.

She'd glance at me every now and then and I'd look away.

Things in this house have been completely different over the past week,I mean I thought she was just upset and was gonna be cool with it after a couple of days but nah she standing ha ground.

But me being the person that I am ,I still haven't learned my lesson.

I'm still doing whatever I want and then expect to come home to her, but things have changed.

"August Mel has a dentist appointment at 1 , "Nicki said as I looked up at her .

"Why you cant take him ?"

"Because I'll be at work and you wont be doing shit anyways ."

I grabbed her as I wrapped my arms around her waist as she looked at me .

"August stop !"She said as I ignored her .

"Gimme a kiss ,"I said as she looked at me.

"Tell Amber to give you one,"she said removing my hands walking away.

I sucked my teeth as I could hear her chuckle .

I got up as I leaned against the wall seeing her hug Mel.

"Oooh Mommy loves you so much ,"she said hugging Mel tightly.

She let him go as she looked at me .

"Don't let anything happen to him,"she said as I rolled my eyes.

"August I'm serious and I told you over a thousand times about rolling your eyes."

"Okay ,I got it ,"I said with a smirk.

'I should get going,Bye Mel and bye Mr.Alsina ,"Nicki said as Mel smiled.

The door closed as Mel looked at me laughing.

"What man?"I asked.

"She called you Mr.Alsina ,"he said laughing.

"And thats funny too you ,"I asked picking him up.

"Yup,"he said as I carried him in the living room.

"How should our day start ,"I asked as Mel rubbed his chin.

"You can take me too the store and buy me stuff."

I smiled as I grabbed my keys .

"To the mall...AWAY!!! ,"I said running to the door as Mel ran behind me.

I carried biggest of the bags Mel and I had that were filled with clothes. Mel dragged his shoebox in a bag as he struggled carrying it.

"Get strong Mel we almost to the car,"I said as Mel sighed.

I looked around the parking lot seeing a few faces.

"Stop!"I heard Nicki's voice say followed by a chuckle.

Mel must of heard it too because when I stopped and looked back he was a few feet from me.

I looked around the parking lot for Nicki, by the time I found her Mel did too.

"Mommy," Mel yelled as he ran towards her.

I ran after Mel, stopping the cars from almost hitting him.

"Get out of da damn road, "an old angry man said honking the horn.

"Melvin,"Nicki said hugging Mel as the guy standing next to her looked at me.

"I'm Tyriq"

"Ion care,"I said mugging him.

Nicki looked at me as she gave a soft smile.

"August I.."

"I thought you were at work,your suppose to be at work," I yelled.
