Gyomei decapitate Muzan's head or more precisely, smash it with his weapon. 

'Ubuyashiki Kagaya. Dead at the age of 23. He spent everyday of his life visiting the graves of dead demon slayers until his disease no longer allowed him to stand or get up from the floor' 

'When I first met him, Oyakata-Sama was fourteen and I was eighteen. I couldn't believe this man was four years younger than me from the way he acted' Gyomei reminisce 

"I know you fought to protect those people. You are no murderer" Kagaya smiled 

'Back then, he was the kind of person who spoke in a way people always wanted. And his solemness never changed, from the moment I met him until the moment he died' He remembered when he pledge himself to Kagaya

"Sometime... in the next five days... Muzan will come" Kagaya informed 

"Use me... as a decoy... and get his head..." He weakly said 

"Why do you think that?" Gyomei looks at him sadden

"Fufu... instinct... that's all. No reason..." He replied and smiled 

'In addition to their special voices, the Ubuyashiki family's instinct was tremendous. You could call it the power of foresight'

"The other children... probably won't accept... the fact that I'm using myself as a decoy..." Kagaya said

Tears slide down your cheeks as you and Gyomei replied "Understood"

"If that is what you want Oyakata-Sama" Gyomei added 

"Thank you... I really hope... no more of my precious children... will see death" he thanked

'As I thought! It's just as Oyakata-Sama predicted. This man, Muzan. Will not die no matter how many times,es I cut his head off!' Gyomei thought as he stared at Muzan who growed his head back

"I think... the sun is the only way to destroy Muzan. If he doesn't die when you destroy his head, you will most likely have to prolong the battle until the sun rises..." 

'And the speed of his regeneration. Judging from the sound, he is unlike all the demons I've faced up to this point' Gyomei thought

'Despite weakening him with Oyakata-Sama's explosion and our accomplice's help, he still has a lot of strength. That means i have to keep restraining this monster until the sun rises'

Muzan shot his hand forward "Black blood technique, Chain of thorns"

"Breath of rock: Third form, Igneous Reflection" Gyomei cut Muzan's chain of thorns 

"YOU BITCHHH! WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO TO OYAKATA-SAMAAA!!" Sanemi yelled furiously 

"IT'S MUZAN! KIBUTSUJI MUZAN" You shouted

"THIS GUY WON'T DIE EVEN IF YOU CUT HIS HEAD OFF!!" Gyomei added

'It's him!' Everyone thought 

"MUZANN!!" Tanjiro yelled 

"Breath of mist..."

"Breath of love..."

"Breath of serpent..."

"Breath of insect..."

"Breath of water..."

"Breath of wind..." 

"Hinokami Kagura..."

Muzan smirked and everyone got caught off guard when they fell.

"YOU SERIOUSLY THOUGHT YOU COULD CORNER ME? YOU'RE ALL GOING TO HELL NOW!" Muzan cackled

"YOU PATHETIC DEMON SLAYERS PESTS. I'M SLAUGHTERING YOU ALL TONIGHT!" 

"YOU'RE THE ONE GOING TO HELL MUZAN! YOU'RE NOT GETTING AWAY! I'LL DEFEAT YOU FOR SURE!" Tanjiro yelled 

"COME AND GET ME IF YOU CAN! KAMADO TANJIRO!"

You ran and ran until you finally saw Sanemi, protecting Genya from uppermoon 1. 

"Hm... You held out for quite some time... up to this point...  But if you move... your organs will spill out..." Kokushibo said

Kokushibo pulse increased and Sanemi revealed that he is a Marechi. 

"Breath of light: first form, Blinding Lightspeed" you interrupted Sanemi's and Kokushibo fight by cutting Kokushibo hand

'Speed that even surpasses thunder breathing users' Kokushibo thought slightly shocked 

"Breath of sun: sixth form, Solar heat haze" you charge towards Kokushibo, unleashing a horizontal slash covered in haze that fails to land. But suddenly Kokushibo arm was cut off again. 

What surprise Kokushibo was not you cutting his arm off but your eyes and the fact that you used sun breathing. 

"So you're her and his descendant" Kokushibo growled

Your now Crystal Magenta eyes glared at him, he felt as though he was seeing her all over again. 

"You are a failure of a demon to that man" Kokushibo said eyeing down a bloodied Mai who regenerate slowly. 

"I am not a creation of my brother and I will not subject and fall into his hands" Mai pant, she took her sword and held it to her neck.

"I'll see you soon, Yoriichi" and with that she decapitate her own head.

Her head roll to the ground and she saw the bright moon, its light shone on her as if reassuring her that everything would be fine. 

She then saw the magenta butterfly, it glowed and landed on her nose. It was the butterfly that had given her the Twilight eyes. 

"Please watch over and guide my descendant" she whispered as tears fall from her eyes before she disappeared fully. 

"You're Sun breathing is not even close to perfection. Not enough to defeat me" Kokushibo said

"That's right. But, I'm not the only one after your head" you answered, Sanemi suddenly attacked from the side but with Kokushibo speed, he manage to dodge it. 

"Let us fight then, Descendant of Mai and Tsugikuni Yoriichi" Kokushibo said readying his stance
